Course curriculum is average.

Placements: Mostly IT companies come in the college. If other branches need placement then there is less than 10% chance of getting the placement through college. Infosys, suzuki, Tata, IOCL is the major companies that comes in the college. Don't expect more from this college.

I suggest you not consider this college as the first choice. However, it is not much bad also.

Placements: Placements in this college are average, and there are opportunities but are not widespread. Many students have been placed in the past also, and almost 10-20 students from every batch get placed every year. Salary packages offered are not high. However, if students are talented and will work hard, there are ample opportunities for them. TCS iON and HCL are the companies which have recruited students from our college in the past. Internships are also available through off-campus placements, but s...

It is not much good college but still it is far better than others.

Placements: Students were willing more, but the opportunities were too low. There was approximately one job for 200 students. Even the opportunities provided were not good. The working conditions were awful. If one decides to opt for this institution, never expect an on-campus placement.

These four years in this college changed my life forever.

Placements: Only 30% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in our course was 5.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2.2 LPA. 3 Top recruiting companies for our course are Manhattan Associates, Itenic Solutions, etc. The top role offered in our course is a cloud engineer. Almost 100% of the students got internships from our course.

The best college in the district Udhampur of Jammu and Kashmir.

Placements: Anyone who passed higher education from any registered school or institution can take admission in this college. There isn't any entrance test. You just need to fill the online admission form and get admission. No matter what is your marks, qualifying the course is enough to join this college. Many multinational companies visit the campus to provide jobs to the eligible candidates.

I am dissatisfied with this college.

Placements: The placements are very less in our college. Every year, mostly 2 to 3 companies visit the campus for placements. Every year, the placement percentage will be 10%. The salary package is also very low, and it is about 2 to 3 lacs per annum. Big companies never visit the campus for placements as only small companies visit the campus. Only fewer students will get internship opportunity from college, and its percentage is also very low.

Placement record was bad.

Placements: I started my college in 2010, that time the placement record was good. My many known seniors got placed in reputated companies. Some mechanical students were placed in Indian Army through university entry scheme. After that the graph of placement goes down. When I get passout in 2014, the placement was very low. Only 3-4% students get placed that is also only IT and CSE students. The placement cell performance was very below. So could not expect placement from college. Yes I thing is that after ...

Not at all satisfied with the placements and infrastructure. The faculty members are good.

Placements: The placements are not high. Only a few companies come here. The placements are almost negligible. Companies come to the college to recruit students without offering any huge package. I request our college to invite more companies so that the students can get placed.

Great Improvement is a must.

Placements: Placements: Jammu University offers a wide range of placements. Every year about 3 to 5 Multinational companies offer different kinds of Jobs to the students. These companies offer jobs to the deserving students and almost all toppers get selected. However, there is also a scope of development in the university for the students. In terms of %, about 60% of toppers get selects for various jobs in those companies. Salaries were offered according to the position they were given. In case if a positi...

On the whole, it was a good time, but I am a little disappointed with the placement cell.

Placements: Very few placement opportunities are available in the college. A very few students are placed, and they too come back after having the training. I think the placement team should focus more on the placements so that the students get rewards for their hard work.

MIET Jammu kot bhalwal review by an ex student.

Placements: The placement of college is so pathetic, during my batch only 12-13 students from the whole batch were placed. College needs to improve contacts with the placement cell. A few were placed in good companies but a fruve which held in a nearby college, mind you that companies did not bother to visit our college, may be reputation matters.

Honest Review "Average College.

Placements: Our college has a separate placement cell and is of no use, not many companies come to our college, as it was mentioned in the brochure and website. But still I would give it a 4 out of 10 for placements in our campus. And about the highest package it's 2.4 lac/annum.

Our college is very good in terms of campus and faculty.

Placements: There were no placement programs. No companies visited our campus. For senior batch also, no placement programs were organised. And there is no placement cell in our university. Only classes were taken, and after completion of the degree, we applied for jobs ourselves.

I had very poor experience with this college. Road facility is the worst.

Placements: The college had negligible chances of getting placed. Only 4-5 students get placement, and out of this, 4 students are from computer science engineering, and hardly a single student from ECE got placement. The average salary offered was 2.5 lacs per annum. There is no placement cell.

Dissatisfied with the placements. The infrastructure and the faculty are average.

Placements: There were almost no placements in the college. No major companies visited our college. Our college is in very bad position regarding placements. They say so much, but in term of placements, they are not doing anything for the students. In my 4 years in Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology, I haven't seen a single company for the placement.

Can be improved regarding the placement.

Placements: Two companies visited for the campus placement. The college should have hired more companies. They try, but there is lack of firms in Jammu. Some companies never arrived on campus even when the faculty told us that they would come. They should focus on grooming the students for interview and technical interview because the environment is not like that.

GCET, Jammu is good but not the best. It should be an option only if you don't get JEE or NEET.

Placements: The placements records of GCET, Jammu are not good. Less than 10% of the students got placed with an average package of Rs. 3 LPA. The packages vary from Rs. 1 LPA to Rs. 7LPA. Being the only state government run engineering college, it is popular in Jammu and Kashmir.

Pros and cons of MS College, Jammu.

Placements: Though there is an active college placement cell, there is a huge size of the placement staff. Also, no placement drive occurs in the college. The students have to get a job by themselves. The college doesn't have any tie-up with any company or the placement agency. Previously, they used to conduct the placement drives.

The average package here is Rs. 3.5 lacs per annum. The highest package is Rs. 5 lacs per annum. Mostly, TCS and Wipro visit the campus. They have to do it on their own.
