No, you cannot get admission in Lucknow University for BTech without giving any entrance exam. The University of Lucknow conducts its own entrance exam, called the Lucknow University Entrance Examination (LUEE), for admission to BTech programs. The LUEE is a state-level entrance exam that is held every year for admission to BTech programs offered by the university.

However, there are a few private engineering colleges in Lucknow that offer direct admission to BTech programs without any entrance exam. These colleges usually charge a higher fee than the government colleges.

Yes, the University of Lucknow offers lateral entry to the BTech course. Lateral entry admission to this course is based on the merit of the Central University Entrance Test (CUET). Apart from the later entry admission, Lucknow University's regular BTech admission is based on candidates' performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) entrance test.

The total number of seats available for the BTech course at Lucknow University is 330. During the seat allotment, students are admitted based on this seat intake. No, candidates are not allowed to join the BSc course at Lucknow University directly. The eligibility criteria to get admission to the BSc course are as follows: 

• Candidates must complete Class 12 from the Science stream including PCM/PCB subjects. Additionally, candidates should have 50% aggregate in their last qualifying examination.
• Admission to the BSc course at LU is entrance-based, the college accepts the UGET exam scores.
