No, you cannot get admission in Lucknow University for BTech without giving any entrance exam. The University of Lucknow conducts its own entrance exam, called the Lucknow University Entrance Examination (LUEE), for admission to BTech programs. The LUEE is a state-level entrance exam that is held every year for admission to BTech programs offered by the university.

However, there are a few private engineering colleges in Lucknow that offer direct admission to BTech programs without any entrance exam. These colleges usually charge a higher fee than the government colleges.

For admission in a BTech programme at University of Lucknow, it is crucial that the aspirant fulfils the course-specific eligibility criteria. Thus, only the asiprants who have passed Class 12 with at least 55% aggregate are eligible for admission. In addition, student should have passed the qualifying examination from a recognised board. Lucknow University Management Entrance Test (LUMET) is a pen and paper based entrance examination. The duration of this test is 90 minutes.
