Placements: In the last two years, 100% of the eligible students have been placed in different companies. The highest package is 57.5 lacs per annum, the lowest package is 10 lacs per annum, the average package is 28.35 lacs per annum, and the median is 28.65 lacs per annum. Some of the top recruiting companies are Oracle, Goggle, Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Citi India, Cisco, Well Fargo, Wall Arts, Qualcomm, and Jio. Placements: Exceptionally good companies visit our college for placements and internships. Firms such as Accenture, EY, Grant Thornton, Deloitte, and L&T visit for finance placements. For marketing and HR, companies like TATA, Amazon, Mondelez, etc., come to the campus for marketing internships and placements.

Placements: The ITP programme is commendable as there are so many MNCs coming for the Internship programme (2-month programme). Also, COC is a great help in resume building and helps us get placed. Some of the MNCs that came this year were Deloitte, TCS, Ernst & Young, Bloom Energy, and Grant Thornton.

Placements: There were excellent placements in the information technology branch in 2023. The highest package was 45 LPA. The average package was 27 LPA. In 2023, all students were placed. But this year, because of the recession in the companies, placement statistics went drastically down.

Placements: The percentage of placed students was above 95. The highest package was 45 LPA. The average package was 20 LPAs. The top recruiters were Texas, Cisco, Jio, Walmart, Oracle, etc. Almost 60% of students get internships every year. The placements for the year 2024 were low because of the recession in the market.

Placements: There are only 57 students in the Chemical Engineering branch of NITK. So most of the students get placed. The percentage of placements is good enough. In the last year, i.e., 2023, the percentage of placements was 95%. The highest package was around 30 LPA. The average package was 12 LPAs. The top recruiters were ExxonMobil, Reliance Industries, MRPL and Deloitte.

Placements: The highest package for the academic year 2022–23 was 36 LPA. The average package for the same was around 20 LPA. The percentage of placements for the same year was around 85%. The top recruiters were Jio, DeShaw, Oracle, Walmart, Qualcomm, etc. Not so many students got internships but around 50% of students got internships and some of them got a chance to be interns at software companies.

Placements: The placements in the IT department were actually very good for the last 2–3 years but in 2023, because of the recession, the percentage of placements went down. Many top MNCs did not come for recruitment. And the companies that are coming are hiring a few people.

Placements: I don't have the specific placement rate but it is around 85 to 90%. The average package for graduates is typically 25000, the highest and the lowest packages can vary based on experience and industry demand. Travel agency like Thomas Cook, Goibibo. 90% of students got Internship. Adventure tour guide, Airlines operation manager, Travel advisory, Tour guide etc. ; are the roles offered by travel and tourism course.

Placements: The placements in the computer Science and engineering (CSE) departments are very good. Almost 99% of students got placed during the 2022-23 academic year. For example, in 2022, 90 out of 91 eligible students were placed. The highest package in computer Science and engineering is INR 57 LPA, the median package is INR 29 LPA, the average package is INR 14.06 LPA and the lowest package is INR 11 LPA. Placements: The college has an excellent placement record. The college has a record of 90%-95% placement because a few of my classmates prefer to continue their education. The college administration and the placement council work well together to invite a wide variety of industries to the college for the job application process. The colleges the highest placement offer was around 47 LPA, and the median wage offer was around 15 LPA.

Placements: Almost 90% of my students were placed in my course including me. The package offered varied from RS.20,000 to 30,000. TATA wasa a top recruiting agency, they conducted several workshops. Students above 80% were offered placements. The management is so good. This collegw is having students from almost 55 countries like gulf countries and several african and american countries. Other than that students all over india are present there. All these contribute a memorable college life.

Placements: Since the CDS branch is new to NITK, the placements for M.Tech. CDS students are moderate. The highest package for the year 2023 was 36 LPA. The average package was 19 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Adobe, DeShaw, Oracle, Microsoft, JPMorgan, etc.

Placements: When it comes to placements at the CSE branch of NITK, Surathkal, everybody knows the higher placements. So this time also, the placements were touching the sky. For the year 2022, the highest package was INR 54 LPA, along with an average of INR 30 LPA. Almost 55–60% of the students get internships.

Placements: The placement percentage is 99.8 percent; this is the last year's data. The highest package is INR 58 lacs per annum, the average is INR 29 lacs per annum and the lowest is INR 10 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Wells Fargo, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Oracle, and Citi India. Almost 80 percent of students got internships last year. The top two roles offered are software developer and manager.

Placements: I am in the first year only, but as I heard from seniors about the placements, they are excellent. The highest package for the year 2022 was 54 LPA, and the average package was 30 LPA. The top recruiters were Neutonics, Adobe, DeShaw, Sprinkler, etc. The top roles offered were Sr. Data Analyst, Developer, Sr. Executive Manager, etc.

Placements: The percentage of students who got placed in metallurgical and materials branch in the year 2022 was around 74%. The highest package was 28 LPA. The median salary for the same was 12 LPA. There is very less chances in metallurgy branch to get internships but still here 60% of students got internships?

Placements: The placements of the CSE department are good in comparison with the other branches but compared to other NITs they are lagging somewhere behind. The highest package of the last year was 54 LPA. The lowest package was 3 LPA. The average package of last year recruitment was 30 LPA.
