    Gujarat University Cyber Security and digital forensics. Great experience and scope.
    Placements: The department does not provide placement services. They do offer letters of recommendation and contacts for jobs and internships. Given the high demand for cyber security professionals, we were able to find employment based on my skills and qualifications.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the department is very good. There are smart boards and projectors in every classroom. Wi-Fi is provided, and the drinking water is filtered and cooled. There is an elevator, which is technically for staff but students can use it. There are labs and clean washrooms. Overall, the infrastructure is excellent.
    Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable and friendly, and they are very approachable and helpful. However, most of the faculty are research scholars who don't have a degree in education. They have less teaching experience, but they are very good in the field and have a great deal of knowledge. They try their best to make sure that we understand the material. The exams are medium to tough, and it is easy to pass but not easy to score very well. As a result, most students pass easily.
    Other: Cyber security and digital forensics is a growing feild. As the technology grow one needs to grow their security too and the scope for job and vacancies is also very high. And extracurricular is also good with all the sport activities, yoga, and fests and functions.

    Placements: We have good placement records at our university. We got placed in various companies with the highest salary package of up to 15.5 lakhs per annum and the lowest salary package of up to 3.2 lakhs per annum. And we get various internship opportunities around the university.
    Infrastructure: We have good laboratory facilities and we were strictly asked to wear lab coats, lab uniforms, and shoes within the laboratories. We were asked to practice the practicals and do some research on those practical projects. And we have all the medical emergencies within the university.
    Faculty: We have qualified teachers at our university. They were highly helpful in searching for and developing new projects. During projects, we share our ideas with our lecturers, and they will correct our faults in those ideas. They also share their feedback on our research projects.

    Is it worth to pursue Cyber security in Gujarat University?
    Placements: There are not much placements provided aur sometimes it can be none. You can either look for the company which tie up with your department for the placement aur find placements by on your own. Sometimes, the company in contact with the department provides internship or we have to find on our own.
    Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite nice. We have sports complex, water facility. The infrastructure is modern with computer lab, fully air conditioned classrooms. It also has library which contains variety of books of all the courses available in the department of biochemistry.
    Faculty: Faculty is okay like some are not proper qualified and don't have much experience. Curriculum activities like annual functions and festivals are held on quite good level. In terms of exam, there are total two exams per semester. One is internal and one is end semester of 30 & 70 marks respectively.
    Other: This is an integrated course in cyber security. The reason behind choosing this course was that there are many opportunities in cyber security as it is an evolving field and has many opportunities in career.

    Good placement results in good packages.
    Placements: The overall placements from our university are really good. The average package offered by recruiters at the 2022 placements will be INR 8.5 lakhs per annum, and by the 2021 placements, the average package offered by recruiters will be INR 10 lakhs per annum.
    Infrastructure: As all the facilities available in our college. All the classrooms are digitalized, and they are maintained and cleaned regularly. The food available in our hostel canteen and mess is of higher quality. There is a spacious library with separate research and study areas.
    Faculty: The teachers were highly helpful, qualified, and supportive. And they are experienced and knowledgeable. They always prefer to take practical sessions and industry-oriented classes rather than classroom teaching. And clearing semester examinations is very much easier.

    Placements: Placement from this college is impressive. A large number of multinational companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Capgemini, etc., come for hiring. The average package is 2-3 Lacs per annum. Students get internships in many nearby eminent institutes like NISER Bhubaneswar for their final-year internships.
    Infrastructure: The course infrastructure is well-developed. The library is enriched with books from both Indian and foreign authors. Food in the mess is above average. Hostel rooms are clean and well-equipped. Bus service is available from the hostel to the college. Medical facilities are not available. Sports facilities are not up to the mark.
    Faculty: Faculty members are well-experienced, all holding Ph.D. and postdocs. These faculty members are very student-friendly and provide vital guidance to students during their internship period. The course curriculum forms a group of efficient and optimistic, industry-ready learners.

    Placements: I'm not sure about exact percentage of students who secure placements and the salary package offered. However, some reputed companies and industries visit our college and provide placements. Students are admitted here through the CPET entrance exam, so all the students are very intelligent.
    Infrastructure: Kendrapara Autonomous College is a very big and good college. It has very good infrastructure. Classrooms and labs are neat and clean and in better condition. A government hostel is available for students. Also, there are many private mess and hostels. It has a big playground also.
    Faculty: Teachers of our Kendrapada Autonomous College are very good, helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching style is best hence making the course easy to study. The difficult level of semester exams in our college is easy to moderate.
