The university conducts entrance exams for admission to courses, including BFA, BPT, BOPTM, BSc (Nursing), etc. Admission to the MBBS course at VNSGU is based on the NEET-UG score. Veer Narmad South Gujarat University accepts national-level exam scores for PG course admissions. For MBA, the CAT/CMAT score is accepted. While MD and MS courses admissions are through NEET-PG.

Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) hasn't released any dates related to the BSc admission. The BSc admission portal is open for the academic year 2024. The CAT result for the year 2023 will be declared in the second week of January 2024, according to the official notification for CAT 2023. However, it is possible that the result may be declared in the third week of December 2023. In 2022, the CAT result was declared on December 20, which was two weeks earlier than the official schedule. IIM Lucknow has not yet announced the date for the result announcement for CAT 2023.
