Normal college with decent placements.

Placements: Students get a decent package sometimes, and other times its below average. This year, it was very low for IT companies, while it was good for core branches. But it is not always the same. You can get good placement if you have done internships and projects, which will give you leverage over others.

It is not that good place to pursue M.Tech.

Placements: Currently, students have got placed from college placement as it's ongoing. The highest salary package offered was 13 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are L&T, Vedanta, Infosys, TATA BSL, Hindalco, etc. Industrial automation and process control engineers roles are provided here. None of the students preferred internships.

I am dissatisfied because of the placements.

Placements: VSSUT is the worst college when it comes to the placements of any PG students, specially M.Tech in electrical engineering. Placements were very poor for our batch as well as for our senior batch. Companies like L&T, Indian Navy and TCS visited our college for placements.

Don't join VSSUT as a lateral entry student.

Placements: There are no placements for lateral entry students. No teacher supports any lateral entry student. So, don't join VSSUT as a lateral entry. Very bad placements are provided by the placement cell of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology.

My four years of engineering.

Placements: The same companies TCS, Infosys, and Wipro come for placements. The salary package offered is around 3 LPA. No new companies come here. Training and placement team are students only, so they got placed easily as they know the paper beforehand. A lot of politics are going on among the students and teachers.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placements in 2014

Placements: Overall, the placement was not that good. We were a batch of around 450 students, out of which 60 students were from electrical engineering. Companies which visited us on 2014 were IBM, Infosys, Wipro and Sankalp Electronics. Approximately 300 students were placed and were offered a job. The highest salary offered was 3.5 lacs and the average was 3-3.2 lacs. IT and CS placements were very good, but not so many core companies visited us except for 2-3 maybe. ...
