Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty, infrastructure. There were good placements in 2017.

Placements: After M.Sc, no companies have come for placements, but minimum 10 students in a batch clear the exam NET or GATE, which is not less than the placement. This year, 5 PhD scholars have got appointment letters from CSC. So, one can easily guess the success rate of VB.

Satisfied with the faculty and the overall ambience.

Placements: Generally, the placement doesn't take place, but still many students got through offline campusing with good packages. About internship, generally, good students get into some summer internship with a premium institute for projects. I myself have done it from the centre of studies for social sciences.

Short story of statistics department, Visva Bharati University.

Placements: The college had very nice placement. After M.Sc and PhD, there are various opportunities for the students. There are various opportunities after B.Sc too. After B.Sc, many students from our department went for higher studies like IIT, ISI, and even went to foreign university which is really precious for our Viva Bharati and Statistics department. Per year, more than 3 out of 15 students got chance in IIT for M.Sc. and PhD. Not only that but also many students are studying in foreign countries.

Immensely satisfied because of faculty, facilities and campus ambience.

Placements: The placements are very less in this college, and there is no as such options for placement. Infact there is no placement cell for most departments, apart from the department of mixed European languages (DOMEL). Most people completed there graduation and masters and opt for further studies like Mphill and PhD.

A nice place to explore self-interest.

Placements: From ISERC, Visva Bharati, most of the students are well-placed outside India for pursuing their higher studies in science since ISERC gives each student a chance to explore their interest in terms of internships and long-term projects at national and international institutes. So, a student of ISERC, Visva Bharati has an edge over normal B.Sc and M.Sc students.

This university was founded by great Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. It is situated in Santiniketan, 150 KM from Kolkata, West Bengal. Here students come from around the globe, so a mixed culture is noticed here, though the university sets its own values which are culturally and aesthetically very unique. The most unique nature of VisvaBharati is its openness. From campus atmosphere to teacher-student relationship - openness is observed everywhere. Though according to direct job placement ...

This college is really good and helpful.

Placements: Ya, some agro-based industries come here for placement purpose. But, vacancies for those companies are very less, approximately not more than 10 in any of the placements. Packages are good. Most of the roles are marketing executive officer or like that.
