A compressive review - VIT campus.

Placements: In my course, nearly 80% of students are placed till now in my branch. The highest salary package offered is 17 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.3 LPA. There are multiple top companies like Samsung, Velankani, Eular Motors, and Embedded. These companies offer the best package and roles. Nearly 40% of students got internships in this college. Top roles offered are quality assurance, PCB hardware designer, and power electronic engineer.

VIT: The Good, The Bad, The Memorable.

Placements: The placements in our college are really good, even though there are a little number of recruitment limits from every company. Placements are easier and better here, as this year there were about 300 companies which came to recruit us. If there were no placements, my plan was to do a Master’s abroad, probably in Singapore or Switzerland. The highest package last year was for 1.1 crore, and the average package was around 9.9 LPA. You need a minimum 6 CGPA to get placed, but I would recommend at l...

Love-hate relationship with VIT.

Placements: In our course, almost all of our students were placed. The highest package was 50 LPA, while the lowest was 3 LPA. The top recruitment company was TCS, as far as I believe. Around 40% of the students got internships from our course, and the top roles offered were managerial positions, as far as I have heard.

All You Need to Know About VIT

Placements: There are 75 students in each class, around 3000-4000 students in each batch, where 2000-3000 get placed every year. If you have skills, you can get a placement. The competition is tough, with low chances of getting an internship. Most of the top recruiting companies come here every year, including MANG and other top companies.

Why take VIT Vellore – My experience.

Placements: SEE placement here is like, if you deserve, you get. Companies coming here for recruitment are looking for skills, but remember to maintain a decent CGPA. Top recruits are TCS, and Wipro Technologies, and the college has a good alumni network, so it helps in getting internships for college students. The faculty is top-class.

Opportunities are there but hard work is needed.

Placements: CGPA plays an important role in the placement criteria. You need to be different from the crowd, as the crowd here is really huge. Opportunities are there for growth, but you need to be aware of things. Startup culture is not very good here as compared to tier 1 colleges.

Average college.

Placements: The placements are okay, but super dream offers are not that many. Most people get placed in service-based companies through mass hiring. If you prepare well, you will get around 10-12 LPA CTC; higher offers are also received, with the highest around 1.2cr and 50 LPA. Internship opportunities are good; many companies like PayPal, Wells Fargo, Visa, Intuit, Motorq, etc., come for placements.

Ups and downs of VIT Vellore.

Placements: About 25% of students in mechanical engineering from the 2025 batch have been placed till now. Placements for CSE are much better with a higher percentage of people placed. In the mechanical department, about 50% of students got placed till now in the 2025 batch.

Excellent Academics, Impressive Placements, and Vibrant Campus Life at VIT Bhopal University.

Placements: VIT Bhopal University has a robust placement cell that ensures students are well-prepared for the recruitment process. The university has established strong ties with top-notch companies, resulting in impressive placement statistics. Every year, renowned companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and HCL visit the campus to recruit talented students. Not as bad of a college as reviews make it out to be; a lot depends on you.

Placements: As of now, about 50% of students in my batch are placed, and placements are still ongoing this year. The market isn't great, so the average package is around 8 LPA. Companies recruiting include big names like Google, TCS, Infosys, as well as smaller ones. Zepto Kirana came for a store manager role with a package of 4.5 LPA. In addition to engineering roles, a lot of consulting roles were offered by companies like Deloitte and others.

Good college, great security and facilities.

Placements: In my branch (CSE core), there was an almost 90% placement rate. Most of the roles were software or hardware positions, with some consultant roles as well. Top companies like Google, Goldman Sachs, and Microsoft visit for placement drives. The highest package offered might be 60 LPA, and the lowest might be 5 LPA.

Bachelor of Business Administration at VIT University.

Placements: For BBA, the placements are good according to their fee structure. More than 90 percent of students were placed. The highest package is 4 to 5 LPA, and a maximum of 2 students only get this. Others will get average and low. The average package is 3 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. Most startups from Bangalore and Chennai come for placement. Mostly the roles offered are Sales and Business Development. Sometimes Finance, but rarely. They don't provide any internships; you should search for them on you...

Mass crowd but it was really worth joining VIT Vellore.

Placements: I joined VIT Vellore in the year 2022 in the Computer Science core branch. So currently, I'm in 3rd year right now, so no placements are going to happen. My senior batch (21 batch) placements are going on right now. As far as now, the highest package was grabbed by 2 CSE students with a package of 1 crore annually from MOTARQ company. The same company grabbed 2 students last year for 1.2 crore. From the CSE course, 50-70 percent of students did internships during the pre-final year in remote com...

VIT - A land of opportunities, challenges, and fun.

Placements: 80-85% of students of the current batch got placed, with the highest package of 1 crore and the lowest package of 5 LPA, with an average of 10 LPA. The top recruiters include Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and Amazon. The internship is a compulsory part of the curriculum, so everyone does internships. Majorly, people are hired as software engineers or sites, but some also have management roles.

VIT is a college you must definitely choose.

Placements: A decent number of students get placed. The highest package was more than 1 crore, and the average was 8-8.5 lacs per annum. If you have a decent CGPA, then you need not worry. You'll land a nice package somewhere. Otherwise, the mass recruitment programs are to the rescue.

College- where dreams come true .

Placements: The placement session is going on in the college. The more information I get about that, the more I know some of my friends or seniors. You can say that they got placement around 10 to 12 lacs per annum. Now the placement session is going on; students also say that they have to find some difficulty for placement, but later they will get placed.

Placements: So placements for VIT Vellore and Chennai take place together, and about 196 students have got placed (without switch offers, i.e., TCS, Mindtree, Infosys, Cognizant) out of 480 students. The placement percentage is around 60-70%. The average package is 11.5 Lacs for ECE.

Placements: In Zomato, TCS, and many other companies, many of them are chosen as well with a good package from the companies. There are many of them from the internships themselves; some can be done from the college, which adds a good remark to the CV.
