Truth/Reality of MCA VIT Vellore.

Placements: For my course MCA students become eligible for job and internship 2nd year onwards. Total 40 companies come but only 13-14 companies genuinely turned up for online assessment and interview; the rest of them either preferred M.Tech students or did not turn up. The highest package offered by PhonePe was 34 lacs/year and the lowest was 4 lacs/year from Prayuha Private Limited. Internship stipend range started from 15,000 Rs/month.

The college has decent placements, and the faculty members are strict.

Placements: You have to pay approximately Rs 6,000 for placements. You will get to apply for around 100 companies. You need to have a good CGPA of more than 8 CGPA and a minimum of 60% in all the subjects to attend placements. Students are eligible for placements from the third semester. Last year, the highest package offered is above 28 LPA. Almost every year, the average package is around 7 LPA.

Good College, Good Placements, lots of opportunities if you are eager enough to get into it.

Placements: Placement of this University is always good. It's just you have to be ready enough to grab the chances and opportunities. Talking about placements, around 85% of students got placed (actually I don't know everyone and strength was around 160) in good companies. The highest package was 39lpa and the lowest was 3lpa. Basically companies comes under 3 different offers 1st is REGULAR OFFER (1-3LPA), 2nd is DREAM OFFER (4-10LPA) and the last is SUPER DREAM OFFER (above 10LPA). For MCA companies with...

VIT is a good college for studying MCA.

Placements: Placements in college were decent. There was a healthy competition among fellow students. A good number of dream companies and product-based companies visited the campus for placements. Even IT companies visited the campus. You need to improve your aptitude and fundamentals before appearing for placements.

VIT is a good private college with above average placements.

Placements: Placements in college are decent. You will be competing with a lot of intelligent people. Hence you must be strong on your fundamentals, aptitude and people skills. A lot of good product based companies visit the campus and you would get ample opportunities.

Completely satisfied with the college because of the placements.

Placements: The college provides awesome placements as more than 200 companies visit the campus for placements. I don't know much about our junior batch but can tell this is the same for our senior batches also. Mass recruitment companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, etc., hire the bulk of students. While dream companies like HCL, HP, Philips, Micro Focus, Deloitte, Fico, etc. hire almost 2-7 students. On the other hand, many super dream companies like Microsoft hire only 1 or 2 students. This is a good learning phase, and our college has good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. More than 100 companies visit our college to hire students, but you have to fulfil the eligibility criteria to at least attend the placements. You have to maintain a minimum of 8 GPA to attend the placements of most of the companies in VIT, and it is also based on your 10th and 12th marks. I didn't get placements from VIT because I have 60% in 10 and 12th, but I worked hard and got placements in off-campus.

The placements are good but are provided only for the students with good aggregate.

Placements: The placement season for our batch has just started. But, our seniors had good placement percentage. In MCA, around 70% of the students got placed. The college is very good at providing placements for B.Tech and M.Tech students. The students with 60% and above aggregate can have many opportunities to get placed.

VIT, Vellore for MCA(Master of Computer Applications).

Placements: VIT Vellore has one of the best placements as compared to the other private colleges for MCA. In VIT, more preference is given to B.Tech departments as they have more companies than us. But still, we get the opportunity to sit for super dream companies that have a package of above 10 LPA. We get more than 50 companies around the placement season, and it all depends on luck and how good you are in your subjects. About, 60% of the students got placed, and the rest get through off-campus.

Placements: The placement opportunity on the campus to the students is awesome. The faculty members are good with the great labs. The various super dream companies such as Adobe, JP Morgan, Microsoft visit the campus with the campus placement. Amazon hired with a package of 22 lacs per annum this year. For MCA, you need to clear VITEEE. Vellore campus is the absolute beauty for the students.

A review on Vellore Institute of Technology.

Placements: The college has a very good placement environment. More than 6000 students got jobs in MNCs. The college management is very helpful. Most of the multinational companies are coming there. Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore is the best place to get the dream job. The college is very commuted for student career. There, the student not only gets placements but good corporate skills too. This is the only institution which provides the specific placements training.
