The Vardhman Mahaveer Open University course admissions are done online. Admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses is based on merit and valid entrance exam tests. To apply for admission to various courses at Vardhman Mahaveer Open University please visit the official website. Then click on the Apply Now tab. Then select the course and pay the application fee. Fill out the complete application form with all the relevant details. Submit the application form by clicking on the submit button. The admission window will close soon so apply as soon as possible. Apply for the admissions as soon as possible as the seats are limited and students applying are many. The accepted entrance exams are CMAT, CAT, and others. CMAT counselling or admission process includes personal interview (PI) rounds and group discussion (GD) rounds.

To be eligible for admission to the MBA course at Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, one must have either a Bachelor's degree with a minimum TDC or its equivalent and a minimum of 50% aggregate. For some courses, candidates need to have a master's degree from or a Bachelor's degree with TDC or its equivalent along with a three-year professional experience in a managerial, supervisory, or professional capacity. A professional degree in streams such as Technology, Engineering, Architecture, Medicine, Law, or a professional qualification in Cost and Work Accountancy, or Company Secretaryship. Vardhman Mahaveer Open University accepts the Management Entrance Test MET organised by VMOU or a recognised test such as MAT/ CMAT/ CAT. A proper VMOU MET application process 2023 must be followed for a successful admission.

VMOU MET 2025 will be conducted at the VMOU centres in seven cities – Ajmer, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota and Udaipur. The test city option is to be mentioned in the VMOU MET application form so that the university allots a centre in the same city as the candidate wants.  When filling the VMOU MET form, candidates must select test city option carefully.

VMOU MET exam is conducted in pen and paper mode. The duration of the exam is two hours and the question paper consists of 100 questions from Reading Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Numerical Ability. Each question in the VMOU MET 2025 question paper will carry 1 mark for correct attempt. The total marks is 100. There is no negative marking in VMOU MET.
