A very good college for this course.

Placements: 80 percent of students were placed in our course. The highest package was 3.5 LPA, the lowest package was 1.5 LPA, and the average package offered in our course was 2 LPA. Basically, different types of companies recruit students from our course for handling their account section.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our department are average. Wi-Fi is available on campus. Labs and classrooms are well-maintained. The library is available. The hostel facilities are very good, and the food quality is also good. Medical facilities and sports are available for students.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and definitely highly qualified and also carry very good knowledge. This course's curriculum is relevant and also makes students industry-ready. The semester exam was not difficult, but 30 percent marks are required to pass the semester.

Placements: The average percentage of students selected in our course is 50%. The highest package was 2.5 Lacs per annum, and the lowest was 48k per annum. The top recruiters were Amazon, TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant. The percentage of students who got internships is 40%, mainly in BPO sectors with Amazon and Swiggy. The top role offered was Assistant Accountant.

Infrastructure: The facilities are not up to the mark, and I would advise against staying in the hostel. The hostel lacks essential facilities, and the mess and canteen are inadequate. The hostel building is not fully prepared, so I would not recommend it.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified and helpful, all having Ph.D. degrees in their subjects, which ensures they have great knowledge. However, if you're not preparing for other courses or exams like CA, CFA, CMA, or government jobs, this course might not be suitable. The semester exams are not very difficult, often based on previous years' questions. The pass percentage is around 40%.

Other: I chose this course because I was a commerce student in 12th grade and was preparing for ACCA, so it was relevant for me to choose a similar graduation course. The syllabus seems outdated and needs improvement to make students more job-ready. The fest usually happens in July, featuring food, music, and a famous singer. The Saraswati Puja is celebrated with great joy, including food, music, and a film festival. The campus crowd is average, but students are friendly and connect through WhatsApp groups. The campus is located in a safe and clean army area. The Vivekananda Scholarship is available for West Bengal students with 60% in 12th grade. Extracurricular activities include major sports and inter-college competitions.

Infrastructure: College campus is spread in a wide area. There are different department for the different courses. There are all necessary facilities available in the college. Overall the college is very good in terms of teaching and gathering knowledge.

Placements: There is no such placements provided from our college. The highest package offered in our course was above 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our course was TCS ( Tata Consultancy Services ), PWC, EY and Genpact. Above 34 per cent of the students got recruited.

Infrastructure: In our college we were offered free Wi-Fi with beautifully well decorated library where we can gather so much knowledge in depth in the field of B.Com Bachelor in commerce ). The hostel was very much net and clean and maintenance was well and perfect.

Faculty: The teachers persent in our college was very much helpful and they were very much dedicated to their work. Although there was no sort of industrial training provided from our college but the seniors were very much helpful they guided me a lot in my studies.

An honest review about my college.

Placements: There are many companies that visit our college such as TCS, wipro, Amazon. The average salary offered is around 1.5 to 2 LPA after graduation. The highest salary offered is around 3LPA. 60 to 70% of the students get placed most of the time every year.

Infrastructure: Good campus structure in both Science and commerce building. The faculty members are helpful to students. Provides all necessary facilities for the students. The campus's cleanliness is maintained most of the time. Some of the faculty members such as the security guards and some staff.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to the students regarding study and exam activities. Teachers are well qualified and trained in their job. Their behavior towards us is nice as well. The college is affiliated under West Bengal state university and the exams are not conducted in the best way. Semesters exams are neither easy or difficult it depends on the student's efforts. It does make the student industry ready. For B.Com (Hons) the pass percentage was something like 60% in 12th.

Other: I personally chose this course is because I have interest in Accounts and finance and also want to do professional course in the future after graduation. Apart from the freshers event and Holi there isn't any better event worth mentioning.
