Delhi University along with its affiliated colleges has released the fifth DU 2021 cut off list online on November 8. Read further to know more.

DU Admissions 2021: Delhi University has released the DU 5th cutoff 2021. DU fourth cutoff list was announced on October 30, 2021 and Special Cutoff list was announced on October 25, 2021. The 3rd cutoff list of Delhi University was released on October 16, 2021. The admission against the third cut-off list began on October 18. Delhi University had earlier released the first cutoff list on October 1, 2021 and second cutoff 2021 on October 9. This year the Delhi University Admissions 2021 were delayed due to the second wave of COVID-19. The Delhi University Admission is currently underway. The last date to submit the DU Application form 2021 was August 31, 2021. The DU First Cut-off 2021 and the DU Cut-Off schedule 2021 were released by the DU on September 27, 2021.

This year, DU 1st Cutoff 2021 was high as compared to last year. Eight DU colleges had set their cut-offs at 100 per cent for 10 courses in the first list. With 36,130 students completing their admission process under the first cut-off list, a little over half of the seats at Delhi University colleges have now been filled. As pe the data shared by the Delhi University, it has received a total of 60,904 applications under the first cut-off list.

DU fifth cut off 2021

Delhi University announced the DU 5th Cutoff list 2021 on November 8, 2021. The cutoff list was announced by several colleges where the seats were still vacant for certain courses for UG courses. Ramjas College has reopened the admissions for BA (honours) Sanskrit, BCom (honours) (97.75 per cent), BA (honours) History (96.75 per cent), BA (honours) Hindi (91.25 per cent), BA (honours) English (97 per cent) and BA (honours) Economics (98.25 per cent).

Lady Shri Ram College released the fifth cut off for BA (honours) English and BA (honours) Philosophy at 98.50 per cent and 97 per cent respectively. The cut-off for BA (honours) Journalism has come down to 98.50 per cent, a decline of 0.50 per cent from the fourth cut-off list.

The Aryabhatta College has reopened admissions for BA (honours) History for the unreserved category, Political Science (honours) and B.Com for the OBC category, BSc (honours) Computer Science for the SC category and BA programme (Economics and History) for the EWS category. Meanwhile, Miranda House has released the cut off for only two courses are available for general category students – BA (honours) History (98.75 per cent) and BA (honours) Sociology (97.75 per cent).

The Kirori Mal College still has seats available under BA (honours) Economics (98.25 per cent), BA (honours) English (97.25 per cent), BA (honours) History (97.25 per cent). The Delhi University will begin the admission against the fifth cutoff from November 9, 2021.

DU Fourth Cut off 201

The Delhi University released the fourth cut-off list for admissions to UG courses on October 31. Jesus and Mary College has released the fourth cut-off list and as per the list, the admission to most of the courses has been closed. The JMC college will be conducting admissions for BCom (H) at 97.5 per cent, BCom at 96.5 per cent, Hindi (H) at 63 per cent and BVoc Healthcare Management at 75 per cent.
At Kirorimal College (KMC) admissions are open for BCom (H), Economics (H)History (H) and English (H). Lady Shri Ram College also released the fourth cut-off list for only three courses. SRCC has closed the admission process for both BCom (H) and Economics (H) for the unreserved category.

Similarly, Hindu college has also completed and closed the admissions for all courses while Hansraj College is seeking 98.75 per cent for Ecnomics (H), 98 per cent for History (H) and 98.50 per cent for BCom (H). The admissions to all other courses are closed at the college.

DU Special Cutoff 2021

Delhi University announced the DU Special Cutoff 2021 on October 25, 2021. The DU Special cut-off has been released for all those candidates who were eligible for admission under the three cutoff lists that were announced earlier but did not apply for various reasons. 

In the Special Cut-off 2021, many Delhi University colleges that had earlier closed the admissions in the previous rounds have now given the opportunity once again to students to take admission. At Lady Shri Ram College (LSR), BA Philosophy admission was closed under the first cut-off list but now it has been opened under the special cut-off list at 97.50 per cent. Similarly, for BSc (Honours) Mathematics admissions were closed at LSR after the 1st cutoff list but now it has been reopened with the cut-off being pegged at 98.50 per cent.

Hindu College had closed the admission for BA Philosophy after the first cutoff list, however, now it has opened under the special cutoff list at 97.75 per cent. At Miranda House, the special cut-off for BA Economics has been pegged at 99 per cent.

Kirori Mal College, had earlier closed the admissions to BA Economics and BCom (Hons.) after the second list, has now reopened the admission for the courses at 98/75 per cent. Kamala Nehru College (KMC) has reopened admissions for BA Economics for 98 per cent marks.

As per the official data, 60,155 students have completed the secured seats by paying the fees under the first three cutoff lists. On the basis of the seats available, Delhi University is expected to release more cut-off lists.

DU 3rd Cutoff 2021

Some of the colleges affiliated with Delhi University released their third cut-off list on October 16, 2021. The DU 3rd Cutoff 2021 list has also been released. The DU colleges released the cut-off list with the required marks to get admissions into the undergraduate courses. The third cut-off list witnessed a decline in the range of 025 per cent to 1.5 per cent. 

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College has also released its third cut-off list with the marks required for admission to BSc (Honours) Computer Science course going down by 1.5 per cent. In the first cutoff list the cutoff for course stood at 100 per cent however no applications were received for the courses in the first list. The cut-off for the course was later reduced to 98.5 per cent in the second list and it has now come down to 97 per cent in the third list. However, the admission was closed for the course in SC, ST, PwD and EWS categories after the first list. Aryabhatta College also released its third cut-off list with the decline ranging between 0.25 to 1.5 per cent. Aryabhatta college had kept the highest cut-off for BA (Honours) Psychology among all the courses at 98.5 per cent in the first list which came down to 98.25 per cent in the DU second list. 

Kirori mal College (KMC) has also released the 3rd cut-off list and admission to popular courses --  BCom (H), BCom, Eco (H), History (H) have now been closed. KMC has closed admissions for Sanskrit and Urdu (Hons.) courses too. SRCC in the third cutoff list kept the admissions open for Economics (H) at 98.98.54 per cent and BCom (H) at 99.50 per cent. Miranda House college has however closed the admission process for several courses including -- English (H), Hindi (H), Geography (H), Pol Science (H) and Sanskrit (H).

At Hindu College, the admissions to all other courses except BCom (H) and Economics (H) are now closed. The cut-off for Hindu College is at 99 per cent whereas for Bcom (H) the cut-off is at 98.75 per cent.

 DU 2nd Cutoff 2021

DU released the DU 2nd cutoff 2020 on October 9 on the official website. The combined second DU cutoff 2020 for all colleges has been released for BA Programme, Science, and Arts & Commerce. Candidates can apply for admission against the DU second cut off from 11-Oct-2021 (10:00 am) to 13-Oct-2021 (11:59 pm), while the fee payment can be done till 15-Oct-2021 (Till 5.00 pm). Candidates who have filled the admission form of Delhi University UG programmes can check the second cut off of DU 2021 on the official website of affiliated colleges. The consolidated DU third cut off 2020 for Arts and Commerce, Science and BA Programmes of all the affiliated colleges will be published on the Delhi University UG online admission portal on October 16. DU 3rd cut off 2021 will be prepared on the basis of the number of vacant seats available after the admission process of 2nd cut off round is over. Candidates who meet the required cut off score displayed on the DU 2021 second cut off list can complete the document verification, admission approval and fee payment process. The process will start from the next day of cut off announcements.

At DU’s Hindu College, the admission process has been closed for all programmes including BSc Honours Statistics, BSc Honours Chemistry, BSc Mathematics, BSc Physics, BSc Zoology and BSc Botany has closed. Lady Shri Ram College (LSR) admission on the other hand has been closed for Mathematics course in the second list for unreserved category, but it is still open for candidates under reserved categories. For admission to Bsc (Honours) Statistics, the cut-off against the DU 2nd cut-off list is 99 per cent.

Miranda House has not released second cut-off list for Chemistry (Honours), Physics (Honours), Zoology (Honours) and all other courses except B.Sc (Prog.) Physical Science with Computer Science (97.33 per cent).

DU 1st Cutoff 2021

The first combined DU cutoff 2021 has been released by Delhi University on October 1 for Science, Arts, Commerce and BA Programme. This year, Computer Science, BSc (Hons.) Computer Science seems to be the subject which is high on demand, as three Delhi University colleges, Hansraj CollegeShaheed Sukhdev College Business Studies and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College have announced 100 per cent cut-off for admission in the first list.

Hansraj College and Jesus and Mary College have set a cutoff of 100% in BSc (H) Computer Science and 99.75% in Bcom (H) as well as Economics(H), JMC has set 100 percent cut off for the Psychology course. This year the Ramjas college has set 100% cutoff in three courses- Political Science, Physics and one combination of BA Programme.

Candidates who have applied for merit-based admission to Delhi University colleges can check here the first DU Cutoff 2021 for all its affiliated colleges. DU Cut off 2021 is the minimum score a candidate needs to score in order to get admission to various undergraduate programmes offered by the university. Candidates need to calculate the percentage of'Best of Four' subjects and then compare the same with the cutoff marks. Aryabhatta College was the first one to release DU cut-off list 2021 for various Delhi University UG courses. Followed by Deshabndu 1st Cut off 2021 with as high as 98 per cent score for BSc Hons Physics.

Delhi University is known for announcing high cutoffs every year. Like previous years, this year too, popular DU colleges like Hindu College and Ramjas College have set 100 per cent cut-off for BA (H) Political Science, while Shri Ram College of Commerce has come up with 100 per cent cut off for B.A. (Hons.) Economics and B.Com (Hons.) and Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College has announced 100% cut-off for B.Com.  Last year Lady Shri Ram College for Women came up with 100 per cent cut off for three courses, BA (Honours) Political Science, BA (Honours) Psychology and BA (Honours) Economics. This year the cut-off for these courses have seen a marginal dip, they are: BA (Honours) Political Science- 99.75; BA (Honours) Psychology-99.75; BA (Honours) Economics- 99.50.

What after DU Cut Off 2021: Admission Procedure

Students must note that it is very important to know the next steps of admission to DU UG courses once the cutoff list is announced. Students can check DU admission process after the release of the cut off marks of DU here:

  • Once DUcutoff is released, candidates will have to check the possibility of their admission in their preferred course in the desired college as per the decided DU Cut off marks.  
  • Students will have to fill up the admission application form, which they can generate by logging into the DU admission portal. They will have to select the course and college of their choice.
  • Once the candidate selects the college and course, then they will have visit the affiliated college to share their unique registration ID with the Teacher-in-Charge and complete document verification. Know the important documents for DU admission 2021 here
  • Post document verification, candidates will have to pay the required DU admission fee.

In case candidates want to make changes in their choices of colleges and courses, then they are required to follow the steps mentioned below-

  • Cancel the admission and pay the DU admission withdrawal fee
  • Take a print out of the cancellation fee and submit it to the admitted college. Also, withdraw the original certificates from the admitted college.
  • Follow the complete process again (till step 3 mentioned above) for taking admission to a different course or college of DU admission.
  • Students will have to pay only the balance admission fee and the remaining amount will be refunded after the last date of DU admission 2021

Students are eagerly waiting for the DU Cutoff 2021. While they are interested to know the date of DU cut off, DU expected cut off marks or the Delhi University previous year cut off marks, it is also very important that they should also know the key factors that influence or determine the Delhi University cutoff marks.
