NATA 2025 counselling will not be held by the authorities of the Council of Architecture (CoA) as a common process. Qualified candidates will have to apply individually to the institutes of their preference for admissions based on their obtained NATA 2025 score. Since there is no common NATA counselling process, the candidates will have to personally research and apply to the state-level and private institutes that they wish to get admission into. Various state-level counselling processes will also accept NATA 2025 scores to select candidates for the offered BArch courses. Read to know more about NATA 2025 Counselling.

Q:   What are the NATA 2025 counselling dates?

A:

CoA will not release the NATA 2025 counselling dates.No common counselling process will be held for NATA qualified candidates. For admissions, the candidates will have to individually apply to their preferred institute. The individual counselling dates will be prepared and released by the participating institutes. Candidates will have to check the counselling dates and apply accordingly to their preferred institutes.

Q:   Which NATA score will be considered for B.Arch admission if I have appeared for all the sessions?

A:

Candidates will be eligible to apply and attempt one or more sessions of NATA. In case a candidate appears for 2 tests, the best of the 2 scores shall be the valid score and in the case of more than 2 attempts, the valid score shall be the average of the best scores. All candidates will be required to mandatory qualify at least one session of NATA to be eligible for B.Arch admissions into the respective Architecture colleges and institutes. Candidates are advised to attempt as many sessions as they can to have a higher chance of securing good scores.

Q:   Where can I get information about counselling on the basis of NATA scores?

A:

CoA does not conduct any common counselling process for NATA qualified candidates. Therefore, the candidates will have to check the official website of their preferred institute for the admission process based on NATA scores. Eligibility for BArch Admissions through NATA 2025

Candidates with a valid NATA score will be eligible for admission into various institutes in India that offer BArch admissions. However, there are certain basic eligibility criteria that the candidates are expected to meet for admission into the BArch courses offered by the participating institutes.

  • Should have qualified the 10+2th standard qualifying examination with the minimum passing marks.
  • The candidates should be a minimum of 17 years old as of July 31 of the admission year.
  • Should have a valid NATA 2024 score i.e., a minimum of 70 marks out of 200.

It is to be noted that every institute is expected to have its eligibility criteria for BArch admissions through NATA 2024. Candidates will have to visit the official website of their preferred institute and check the specific eligibility criteria that they have to meet.

Q:   What minimum marks are required for NATA?

A:

Candidates are required to secure the minimum qualifying marks of NATA to be eligible for the admission process. The total mark of NATA 2025 is 200. However, the candidates will have to score minimum 70 marks to be qualified for the admission process. It is to be noted that the qualifying marks are important only for qualifying the examination and being eligible for B.Arch admissions. The criteria for admissions into the B.Arch courses will differ as per the colleges and institutes that the candidates are applying at.

Q:   What is the basic eligibility criteria to be eligible for BArch admissions through NATA?

A:

For admissions into the preferred BArch institutes, the candidates should meet the basic eligibility criteria. If the candidates do not meet the basic eligibiity criteria for BArch admissions based on NATA scores, then their chances of admission will be minimal. 

  • The candidates should have passed 10+2th standard qualifying examination with minimum required marks.
  • Should be minimum 17 years old as of July 13 of the admission year.
  • The candidates should have secured a valid NATA 2023 score i.e., minimum 70 marks out of 200.

Q:   Is NATA July exam score also considered for barc admission in Kerala.

A:

NATA 2025 is being conducted every weekend from April 2025 in two sessions per day. Candidates will be eligible to attempt a maximum of three sessions. In case a candidate appears for more than one session, the best of the scores shall be considered for admissions. Candidates can use the best score to apply for admissions into the B.Arch courses offered in Kerala.

Documents required during NATA 2025 counselling

During the counselling based on NATA 2025 scores, the candidates must present various original and photocopied documents for verification. While the list of documents may vary from institute to institute, some of the basic documents required for verification are listed below.
