Guru Nanak Dev University releases GNDU result 2024 for semester exams, annual exams and entrance exams. GNDU results are declared in the online mode on the official website of the university, online.gndu.ac.in. The university conducts the semester exams in May and December every year. The results are declared within one to two months of the commencement of exams. Candidates need to enter their course, roll number and exam session to check the GNDU result 2024.

Q:   How can I take admission in GNDU without JEE Mains?

A:

For BTech admission at Guru Nanak Dev University, it is mandatory to appear for the JEE Main entrance exam. In addition to this, candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate. The total course fee for the BTech course at GNDU ranges between INR 4.7 lakh and INR 10.3 lakh. However, for some of the other undergraduate and postgraduate courses, Guru Nanak Dev University admits students on the basis of merit.

Q:   Can I get admission in GNDU without entrance exam?

Yes, for some course, GNDU takes admission without entrance exam. The admission to those courses is allotted based on the merit secured in the qualifying exam.

The conversion of CGPA to Percent score at GNDU is carried out by multiplication of respective CGPA by a factor of 8.9. For example, a CGPA of 6.75 will be considered equivalent to 60% marks.

A:

  • First Division with distinction: Those who obtain 75 percent or more marks at the end of their course.
  • First Division: Those who obtain 60 percent or more marks at the end of their course.
  • Second Division: Those who obtain 50 percent or more marks, but less than 60 percent marks at the end of their course.

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for MBA at GNDU?

A:

It is necessary that all the aspirants fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements for admission to MBA in GNDU Amritsar. Thus, aspirants shall hold a valid Bachelor's degree in any subject with at least 50% aggregate to be eligible for admission to this course. In addition, the minimum required aggregate for SC category candidates is 45%.
