IGNOU students took to social media against the varsity's decision to conduct the IGNOU June TEE 2021 exam in offline mode in August.
Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU) is all set to conduct the term-end examination (TEE), June 2021 for the final year/final semester of master’s, bachelor’s, PG diploma, diploma and certificate programmes from August 3, 2021. With IGNOU opting to conduct the examinations in the offline mode, several students from across the country have flooded the social media platforms against it.
#IGNOU_Students_Against_Offline_Exam was trending on Twitter. Many students argued that during this pandemic time it is not safe to hold offline exams as many cannot travel to either examination centers or to another city to take the exam.
One of the students wrote on Twitter that #IGNOU_Student_Want_OBE_Exam @Swamy39 Sir @ignou is planning to conduct final semester exams from 3rd Aug in offline mode. Sir in this pandemic situation we r not feeling safe to step out of the home so we r demanding an Online exam. Sir pls support Ignou students.
