IIT Madras Cutoff 2016: Check Category-wise JEE Advanced Cutoff Ranks

IIT Madras cutoff 2016 was released for admission to several BTech and Integrated BTech courses. The JEE Advanced cutoff 2016 for IIT Madras was released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) in the form of opening and closing ranks. As per the IIT Madras CSE cutoff 2016, the Last Round closing rank was 173 for the General AI category students. For other categories cutoff, candidates can refer to the tables given below.

For the General category candidates, the Last Round closing ranks ranged between 173 and 6368. Considering the closing rank for the Last Round, BTech in CSE was the most competitive speciation for the General category. The least competitive course was Biological Engineering (Dual Degree). Yes, students who have completed a BTech degree from one of the IITs with a CGPA of 8.0 and above can apply without a GATE score. However, any student who has graduated from any other institute, college, or university must have a valid GATE score to be considered for M.Tech admissions at IIT Madras.
