MDU Semester Result Highlights 2023

MDU results have been declared in Oct 2023 for the BCom (Gen, Hons, and Vocational) courses for the 2nd and 4th-semester exams - May 2023. Candidates can check the MDU result by visiting the official website which is www.mdu.ac.in/admin/EventPage.aspx?id=1030. Maharshi Dayanand University generally conducts all Diploma courses second semester (regular and reappear) examinations in the month of September. The M.Ed/M.Ed Special Education practical 2nd sem (Regular & Re-appear) exams are usually held from August to September. Odd semester exams i.e. (IIII, and V) are usually held from November to December. Candidates must fill out the MDU semester exam form timely and download the admit card before appearing for the exam. MDU Semester Result 2023: How to Check?

MDU result list can be checked from the official website of Maharshi Dayanand University. Every year, the MDU result gazette is released for students to check their semester exam results. Follow the simple steps to check the MDU results 2023:

Q:   How to check CMAT 2025 result?

A:

CMAT 2025 result will be declared by the NTA online. Candidates who shall have appeared for the exam will be issued the scorecard. The CMAT scorecard will be available for download at the CMAT-NTA website. Here is the process to check CMAT 2024 result at NTA website.

  1. Open the CMAT-NTA website
  2. Click on CMAT 2024 scorecard tab
  3. Enter your CMAT 2025 application number and password or date of birth 
  4. Enter security pin and click on 'Submit' 
  5. The CMAT 2024 scorecard will open 
  6. Download the CMAT scorecard and save PDF 

After downloading the CMAT scorecard, candidates must check if all the information mentioned on it is correct. Candidates must check that Candidate's name, roll number, date of birth, category, gender, photo, signature, guardian's name, CMAT registration number, CMAT score (sectional), CMAT score (overall), CMAT percentile (sectional), CMAT percentile (overall), qualifying status are mentioned clearly on the CMAT result PDF. In case of misprint or error in candidate details, one must reach out to exam authorities for correction.

Q:   What after CMAT result?

A:

After the declaration of CMAT result, colleges accepting the exam score for MBA/PGDM admission will start the selection process. The candidates who shall have passed they CMAT exam will be required to fill the application forms of their target MBA colleges for admission. Aspirants will need to apply on the basis of their score and cut offs fixed by the institute. If a candidate does not meet the minimum CMAT cut off, they should not apply to that college, as their application will be rejected at the first level of screening. The institutes will conduct group discussions and personal interviews to select candidates for final admission. Candidates will have to ensure that they perform well in the group discussions and personal interviews as merely meeting the CMAT 2024 cut off will not confirm admission.

Q:   What is the CMAT score calculation process?

A:
CMAT scores calculation is a simple process and it is based on the marking scheme. The raw score calculation in CMAT is the sum total of correct/incorrect entries and unanswered questions. To understand the CMAT score calculation, first understand the marking scheme. For each correct answer, 4 marks will be allotted For each incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted For each unanswered question, 0 marks will be allotted CMAT has five sections and all the sections have 20 questions each. Thus, the total marks of CMAT exam is 400. If a candidate has got 70/100 questions correct, 10 questions incorrect and skipped 5 questions, then their total score will be (70x4-10+5x0) 270/400. After the calculation of CMAT raw score of each test takers, they are converted into percentile for result and all India merit list preparation. On the CMAT result cum scorecard, raw score as well as percentile is mentioned.

Q:   When will the CMAT result 2025 be released?

A:

CMAT result 2025 will be declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) a month after the exam. The NTA does not announce the CMAT result date beforehand. In between the CMAT exam and the result announcement, the NTA releases official answer keys and verifies objections raised by candidates.  The CMAT 2025 exam date is January 25, 2025 so the result can be expected in the last week of February, 2025. The CMAT 2025 result cum scorecard will be available for download at the official website of CMAT. 

Q:   Are MAT scorecards of all modes released together?

A:
Yes, the MAT scorecards of all modes are released together on the same day. The process to download the MAT scorecards of all modes is also same. MAT exam is conducted phase wise in February, May, September and December. In each phase MAT PBT, MAT CBT and MAT IBT exam are conducted multiple times. Candidates can appear for MAT any number of times they want. Score of the latest MAT attempt will be considered for admission. So, candidates must download the scorecard of the last attempt they have taken. The candidates are supposed to download their scorecards of the attempt/s made by them, by using the login credentials. In the dashboard, the option to download the MAT scorecard is given. The candidates can download their by using their application number and password.

Q:   How can I download MAT result cum scorecard?

A:
MAT result is released in the form of downloadable PDF at the AIMA MAT website. The test takers have to log in and download their scorecards from the official website. The result is released phase wise. For MAT February exams, the result are released by March. For May phase exams, the results are released by June-July. For September phase exams, the results are released in October and for December phase exams, the results are released in January. To download the MAT result, candidates need to follow the steps given below: 1. Go to AIMA-MAT website 2. Click on login window 3. Enter application number and password 4. Go to result tab and download it Hardcopies of the scorecard will not be released by the AIMA so candidates need to download their result as soon as it is released. The MAT scorecard is available for download at the AIMA MAT website for about one year.

Q:   When will XAT 2024 result be announced?

A:

XAT 2024 result was announced on January 20, 2024. The exam result was expected to be announced by January 31, 2024, but it was declared a week before. Candidates had to download their scorecards from the official website of XAT 2024 exam and XLRI Jamshedpur by using their login credentials. To check the result, check out the steps.

Step 1: Log on to the XAT 2024 website

Step 2: Click on the tab indicating XAT scorecard.

Step 3: As you click on the tab, a new window will open asking for candidates' details. The candidate had to enter their application number and password to log in.

Step 4: As soon as they logged in, their scorecard will be visible on the dashboard. Candidates will have to download it in PDF format of their XAT scorecard 2024.

Q:   I appeared for CAT exam in the second slot. Will my result be declared on the same day as that of the first slot?

A:

Yes, the CAT results for all the exam slots are announced on the same day. In 2022, the exam was conducted in three slots. The results of all the three slots were announced on the same day, I. e. December 21, 2022. In CAT 2023 too, the results of all three slots were declared on the same day. The slot name will be mentioned on the CAT scorecard. The link to download the scorecard for all the slots will be same. Candidates will be required to log into their CAT accounts and download the scorecard from student dashboard. The CAT result is declared in the first week of January but for the last two years, it has been declared in December. If the CAT convening IIM for 2024 follows the same trend, then the CAT 2024 result can also be released in December instead of January.

MDU Merit List 2023: How to Check?

Maharshi Dayanand University also provides students with the previous and current year annual/semester exam question booklets. After the exams, a separate merit list is prepared according to the Maharshi Dayanand University result. MDU Semester Exam Schedule 2023

MDU Rohtak's odd semester exams i.e. (IIII, and V) are usually held from November to December. The last date to submit the Maharshi Dayanand University exam form without a late fee for BTech/ B. MDU Revaluation/ Rechecking of Results 2023

The MDU semester exam result rechecking window opens after the result is announced by the university. Students can apply for MDU re-appear examination/improvement exams or can apply for revaluation.
