Q:   Can I get admission to BTech at RGPV without any entrance exam?

A:

Admission to BTech at RGPV is completely entrance-based. Direct admission is not possible for BTech course at the university. Candidates seeking for admission to this course must pass Class 12 to appy for the course. Aspirants must qualify for JEE Main entrance exam in order to get admission. The JEE Main qualifiers are required to apply for DTE MP counselling, where the seats will be allotted to the selected candidates. 

Q:   How to check the RGPV result?

A:

To check the RGPV semester exam results, the students must visit the official portal of the university. Click on the exam link and then select the 'Results' tab. Submit the enrollment number, method of marking, and semester number. Type the captcha and the result will come out. The student can download or even get the result printed for future reference. If the student faces any trouble, contact the university for any such case.

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for MBA at RGPV?

A:

For admission to MBA course at RGPV, candidates are required to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Aspirants who passed graduation with minimum 50% aggregate in any stream are eligible to apply for this course. However, there is a five percent relaxation for candidates belonging from reserved categories and the state of Madhya Pradesh. These candidates are required to obtain minimum of 45% aggregate in graduation. It's a mandatory step to qualify before applying for this course.

Q:   What is the minimum eligibility requirement for RGPV BPharma admission?

A:

Candidates seeking admission to the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya BPharma course must pass the minimum eligibility criteria. Candidates must have passed Class 12 with PCM with an aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved category candidates). Apart from the minimum eligibility criteria, students also need to appear for the DTE MP counselling process. This is a mandatory step to qualify before applying for the course.

Q:   I have scored less than 60% in graduation. Can I get admission in M.Tech at RGPV?

A:

RGPV M.Tech admission is subject to fulfilment of a specified set of admission criteria. According to the eligibility criteria, the minimum marks required in graduation ranges between 50% and 60%. Admissions to the programme are entrance-based. Hence not only should a candidate secure the minimum marks in Graduation, they are also required to have a valid score in the accepted entrance exams. RGPV accepts the score obtained by the students in various national and state-level entrance tests such as, GATE, MPPET, etc. In case a candidate does not get a seat at the institute, they can go for other colleges offering the course. Interested candidates can also check out the colleges offering Online M.Tech courses.

 

Q:   I have scored less than 60% in Class 12th. Can I get admission for B.Tech in RGPV?

A:

RGPV admissions are done on entrance-basis. The basic eligibility requires the candidates to pass Class 12 or its equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 45% to 60% depending on the course and constituent colleges.  However,  BTech admissions at RGPV are accepted based on a valid score obtained in national and state-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, JEE Advnced, MPPET, etc. followed by counselling. Only those who meet the cut-off and satisfy all the parameters will be allocated a seat at the university for the BTech programme. In case the students are unable to clear the BTech cut-off released by the university, they can pursue Online BTech course offered by various other colleges.

Q:   What documents are required while applying for admissions at RGPV?

A:

At the time of applying for Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, students are required to submit documents for verification. Aspirants can refer to the following list to know about the documents needed at the time of RGPV application:

  • Class 10 marksheet
  • Class 12 marksheet
  • Graduation marksheet (if applicable)

Q:   Is 75 percent marks in class 12 required for JEE Mains?

A:

Candidates need not have 75 percent marks in class 12 for appearing in JEE Main. As per the official brochure released by the NTA there is no minimum percentage required for appearing in the JEE Main. The requirement of 75 percent marks need not be associated with JEE Main. It is to be understood that 75 percent marks is required for admission to institutes which include NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and IITs. There are many institutes which offer admission on 60% and even less along with JEE Main. Candidates must clearly understand that the requirement of 75 percent marks in class 12 is only for taking admission in the institutes.
