Pursuing higher education from a foreign university, in recent times, has become increasingly common. The seekers of quality education are no longer discouraged by the distance between their home country and their dream university. They readily cross countries, continents, and oceans to pursue their desired course from their dream institute.

And while there is no lack of will as far as receiving the best possible education is concerned, most times students from the not so privileged backgrounds are forced to abandon their study abroad dream due to financial constraints. But today much has changed and a lot is being done to make education affordable; especially, undergraduate and postgraduate programs from abroad by rolling out cost-effective course structures, without compromising on the quality of education and prestige of the institute. One such model has been to give learners a chance to study online for the first year, after which they get an opportunity to complete their course on-campus abroad; thereby, making higher education from abroad a lot more affordable.

Talking about this cost-saving practice for pursuing a master’s overseas, Ankur Dhawan, President of upGrad Abroad, said, “The blend of online and on-campus learning seemed like a natural progression from the traditional methods of learning during the pandemic. We are constantly partnering with several leading foreign universities to ensure a more inclusive, cost-effective, and career-oriented higher education for the students.”

Pursuing a master’s abroad opens doors to opportunities that seemed out of bounds earlier. From exploring highly reputed and in-demand professions to being paid the best in the industry, the perks of a master’s degree from a foreign university are plenty. While there are several studies abroad destinations like Canada, Australia, the USA, and others that are considered highly rewarding for the students, Germany tops the list by offering an average salary of INR 45 lakhs after the completion of a post-graduate program.

Students can choose the following master’s programs from abroad that offer up to 20 lakhs cost savings.
