The Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Test is used to determine admission to all UG and PG programs at Kalinga University (KALSEE).

Kalinga University, founded in 2013, has enrolled over 8000 students in such a short period of time. Outstanding students from across the country, as well as over 500 international students from 20 countries, have selected this university for their education and careers. In the NIRF Rankings 2022, the institution is listed among the top 101-150 universities in the country, and it is one of the 50 universities founded after the year 2000. Arts & Humanities, Commerce & Management, Education, Engineering & Technology, Information Technology, Journalism & Mass Media, Law, Pharmacy, Science & Design are among the fields offered at Kalinga University. It welcomes both domestic and international applications. Entrance to all courses at Kalinga University is through KALSEE, which is administered by Pearson VUE on behalf of the university.

The Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Test is used to determine admission to all UG and PG programs at Kalinga University (KALSEE). Furthermore, the university holds its own entrance exam for the Ph.D. program. The UGC has also approved all of Kalinga University's degree programs.

Kalinga University's admissions process comprises an entrance exam and a performance interview. For admission to its numerous undergraduate and post-graduate programs, Kalinga University administers its own entrance exam, the Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE).

Q:   What is the admission process of Kalinga University?

Admission to Kalinga University is based on the Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE). The KALSEE is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted by Pearson VUE in various cities across India and other countries. The application process for admission is online with an application fee of INR 1200. 
 
The KALSEE is required for all courses at Kalinga University, including: Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Doctorate. The university also conducts its own entrance exam for the PhD programme. 
The MBA admission process begins with MBA entrance exams followed by GD/PI. Students must have more than 50% aggregatein graduation from any stream in order to appear for the entrance exams.

Q:   How can candidates join Kalinga University?

The application form must be attached with self-attested photocopies of all eligibility certificates as given below: For Diploma and Under Graduate Programmes Copy of X, XII Mark Cards & Migration Certificate/ Transfer Certificate.

 UG and PG programmes is done basis Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE). Further, for the PhD programme, the university conducts its own entrance exam. All the degree courses offered by Kalinga University are recognised by the UGC.

Pay 5–6 L extra in Koel Campus, As management quota. You will be offered any branch. But it's always better to go on merit. KIIT (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology) University offers direct admission for some courses, while for others, they require candidates to clear an entrance exam.  - for direct admission

Q:   When is Kalinga University- North Client application forms out?

For the Kalinga University's 2023 entrance cycle, the registration deadline was September 30, 2023. 

UG, PG, Diploma, and Integrated courses are available at Kalinga University. Merit-based selection is made after the entrance exam.

Candidates for UG programs must have passed the qualifying examination for the 10+2/HSC or its equivalent with at least 45% (or 40% for reserve category) from a recognised Board. 

The application form is available for download on the Kalinga University website. They must complete the proper form and enclose the necessary paperwork. 

Candidates who are chosen must pay the fee within ten working days after the announcement of the list of successful candidates.

 

Evaluation of Students through KALSEE

KALSEE evaluates candidates for BTech courses based on the following parameters: Physics, Chemistry, Math, and English Communication. English Communication, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Aptitude are the standards for evaluation for other UG and PG Courses. English Communication, Legal Knowledge and Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning are the characteristics for evaluating LLM courses. The entrance exam is computer-based. The admission exam lasts 90 minutes for undergraduate and graduate degrees, and 120 minutes for PhD programs. It comprises of 90 questions for undergraduate and graduate courses, and 100 questions for PhD programs. The test does not have any negative marking. The pass rate for the exam is 50%.

Following KALSEE, the shortlisted students must attend a personal interview. The personal interview takes place on the Kalinga University campus. During the personal interview, you will be asked questions such as 'Tell me about yourself, Why did you choose the University?, What are your strengths and weaknesses?, What are your hobbies?,' and so on. The teachers of the applied course conduct one round of interviews. The entire procedure takes about 45-60 minutes to complete.

For admissions into its various courses, individuals are evaluated based on their KALSEE exam score, personal interview, and academic performance. The shortlisted candidates are notified by email, along with all pertinent information.

Kalinga University BA admission for 2024 is completely based on the KALSEE exam. Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE) is an entrance exam conducted by Pearson VUE on behalf of Kalinga University to offer admission to candidates in the BA programme.

Candidates are required to fill out the online KALSEE application form with all the required details. While submitting the form, candidates must pay the application fee of INR 1,200. Candidates must appear for the KALSEE exam and score a minimum of 50% aggregate.

After the exam, the University releases shortlisted candidates lists who have passed the exam. Now passed candidates must make course registration on the official website of Kalinga University. After registration, candidates must pay the course fee.

Kalinga University hasn't released any dates related to BA admission. However, the application form for the KALSEE entrance exam is open. Candidates are required to fill out the KALSEE application form for admission to the BA program. The KALSEE  application form's last date will be somewhere between July and August. Till then, candidates must watch out for any dates related to the KALSEE exam date.

Thereafter, candidates need to take the KALSEE entrance exam in online mode as per the allotted date, time and test centre. Kalinga University will announce KALSEE 2024 results for all courses. Candidates clearing the KALSEE entrance exam will then be allotted seats in the courses in which they had applied on the basis of merit.
