Placements are decreasing every year in our college.
Placements: Our college had a good placement record. About 40% of students were placed in well-known companies such as Tata, Wipro, Accenture, IBM, and Infosys. The highest salary offered was 14 LPA, the average was 7 LPA, and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. About 70% of students received internship offers from top recruiting companies. However, placements were decreasing compared to previous years.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and the facilities provided by the college are absolutely good. Laboratories have a good internet connection and are provided with an AC facility. Classrooms are above average, but the environment absolutely encourages students to study peacefully without any distractions. Coming to the hostel, the food provided in the mess is insane in some days.
Faculty: The faculty availability varies by branch. The faculty that are available are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The curriculum is relevant, and the semester exams are easy to pass, but to score good marks, we need to start studying at least a week before the exam. The pass percentage is about 70 percent every year.
Other: I chose this college because it is affordable, especially compared to the top 10 private colleges. The environment is peaceful, and the air is clean. Fests and events like Annual Day are held once a year. However, there is not much scope for extracurricular activities.

Great Peaceful Environment, Good Infrastructure.
Placements: Most of the students were placed; I would say 60-70%. A few are doing internships, and a few got jobs in the 3rd year itself. The highest package offered was around 12 LPA in the year 2019. Our batch was affected by the rise of AI, recession, etc. However, a few students still managed to get jobs. The average package was 3 LPA, and I have no information about the lowest package. There are a few notable companies like ZOHO and HCL hiring from our college, and the highest package was offered by one of these companies.
Infrastructure: The Chemistry lab is good; it contains all the necessary equipment, but you'll be working under the guidance of teachers and won't have the freedom to try things on your own. The Physics lab is also good; it looks like an old room, and the equipment seems quite outdated, but it works. As a student, you may not feel comfortable using those old items. Talking about the hostel, the rooms are great, but the bathrooms are horrible, I would say—they are not up to the mark. They have recently built a new hostel for boys.
Faculty: The teachers have great knowledge; they’re helpful and knowledgeable. However, while explaining concepts, they won’t tell you everything—they want you to ask. They won’t provide details unless you specifically ask about the concept they are teaching. The semester exams were of moderate difficulty.
Other: I tried for CSE at JNTUH, but with my rank of 7700, it was quite difficult. So, I chose this college as a safe option and got IT, which is almost similar to CSE, according to my relatives. The bathrooms need to be improved; the walls look too old and slightly dirty. Apart from that, the hostel is great. They also provide a geyser every morning. Every year, there are events where students form groups and perform dances. Trust me, they’re super energetic—I literally love such performances. You would probably love them too.

Really good, as expected.
Placements: It's okay for a government engineering college. The placements are good, and every department takes care of the placement of all students. The companies visit the college every year for hiring students, and the students get hired through the knowledge imparted in the college.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure has the best infrastructure for a student who is looking for daily enhancement of his knowledge. There are free computer labs where they are mostly opened. Hostels are provided as a luxury for first years; still, the senior hostels are okay to stay.
Faculty: The faculty, as per my experience, is a good one. As for my department, I consider all other teachers best. As for the government college, in places, the curriculum is provided by the college. The exams are conducted strictly every time mid-exams are taken.
Other: Fests happen more often than expected.

A moderate college, good for economically weak students.
Placements: About 60% of students are placed through on-campus and off-campus placement offers in my course. In packages, the highest is 8.5 LPA, the average is 4 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Many top IT companies offer placements in our college, such as TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, etc. About 55% of students got internships from different companies like Infosys, IBM, TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has a wide range of infrastructure, such as a college library (with a digital library also) and separate department libraries for MEC, EEE, and ECE departments. Classrooms are spacious with digital projector facilities. We also have a 24/7 computer lab, dispensary, college-attached hostel, and canteen.
Faculty: Most of the lecturers are on a contract basis, and they are qualified and teach the curriculum, but there is no spoon-feeding. We should study ourselves beyond the academics to acquire extra skills, and they will help us in the required areas of the course. Semester exams are moderately difficult but can be covered. The JNTUH pass percentage is quite low, but we can achieve it through hard work.
Other: I have chosen information technology as per my interest in building my career in the software industry. There are different cultural events organized by our college, such as fests, freshers, and festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi. We also have an NSS department through which we participate in various social welfare activities.

JNTUH College of Engineering Jagtial review.
Placements: The 10 present students were placed in my course. The highest package is 8 LPA and the lowest package is 6 LPA. 25 percent of students were hot internships from our course. The top role offered in our course is software employer of a company.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in our course are adequate. We have good classrooms and labs, and a library with our course books. The hostel facilities are average, with edible food. We also have medical facilities and a ground for sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum is okay and relevant. The pass percentage is greater than 60 percent. The semester exams are done strictly under two or three invigilators.
Other: No.
