DU JAT 2021 Registration, Dates, & Admission Criteria: Get Rid of all Doubts!

The exam date for DU JAT 2021 has been released. NTA is conducting the exam on September 27. Candidates can apply for the DU JAT 2021 until August 31.
Cancellation of class 12th exams and speculations on the CBSE evaluation criteria led to a delay in the DU admission process. Theories had been put forward to consider CUCET for Delhi University admission. However, with the latest unfold after, NTA has released the DU JAT 2021 exam date. Delhi University decided not to consider CUCET exam as a part of the DU admission process this year. The merit-based admissions process is similar to that followed in the past admission sessions, University of Delhi is considering the scores as per the CBSE or relevant board's evaluation process.
In addition, there is no change in the admission process besides the entire process being conducted online owing to the COVID-19 and social-distancing protocols. As per the important dates for DU admission 2021, the application process for DU UG admission is available from August 2 to August 31. For DUET PG and DU JAT exam, a detailed schedule shall be released by the National Testing Agency in due course.
Entrance based admissions in Delhi University for BMS, BBA (FIA), and BA (H) Business Economics are done by providing 65 per cent weightage to DU JAT scores and 35 per cent weightage to qualifying exam scores. Accepting DU JAT exam results/scores along with the acceptance of qualifying exam merit for admissions is to remain constant in the Delhi University selection criteria.
Following social distancing in the exam hall during these unprecedented times would have been a major task for the National Testing Agency. In response to the pandemic, Delhi University has increased the number of DU JAT exam centres. With the Delhi University's press release, the anxiety caused due to unfamiliarity with DU JAT exam dates, examination and admission process has now been reduced.

Steps to Fill DU JAT Application Form
Irrespective of merit or entrance based admissions, Delhi University will be releasing a common application form for DU JAT 2021. Following the past year’s trend, the varsity will not release any offline application form owing to the severity of COVID-19. Steps to complete DU JAT 2021 registration are as follows.
1st Step: Registration at du.ac.in
2nd Step: Filling personal details in the DU JAT application form
3rd Step: Filling academic details in the DU JAT application form
4th Step: Choosing merit-based/entrance-based course admission
5th Step: Uploading documents
6th Step: Payment of application fee
DU JAT Eligibility Criteria
The tentative eligibility criteria for DU JAT 2021 is as follows
- Candidates must score 60 per cent aggregate in best of four calculation
- Candidates whose results are awaited can also apply
- Delhi University has not set any upper or lower age limit to appear for DU JAT
