Each IIM that conducts the IPMAT exam have its own admission process:

1. IIM Indore: The IPMAT conducted by IIM Indore is specifically for admission to its Five-Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM). While IIM Indore uses IPMAT scores for admission to its IPM program, these scores are not considered for admission to other IIMs.

2. IIM Rohtak: IIM Rohtak also conducts the IPMAT for its Integrated Program in Management. IPMAT Rohtak scores are primarily used for admission to this programme and are only considered for admission to the same institute.

3. Other IIMs: Some other IIMs may offer similar integrated management programmes, but they often have their own entrance exams and admission processes.

Yes, students who are in Class 12 or are awaiting for their Class 12 results can certainly apply for the IPMAT exam. The basic eligibility crtieria for appearing for the IPMAT exam is as follows:

• The candidate should have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 10/SSC and Class 12/ HSC or equivalent examination in the case of the General and NC-OBC categories.

• The candidates must have passed the qualifying examination in 2022, 2023 or in 2024.

• Also, the candidate should be a maximum of 20 years of age as of July 31, 2024.

• The candidate should have scored a minimum of 55% aggregate in Class 10/SSC and Class 12/ HSC or equivalent examination in the case of SC, ST and PWD (DA) categories.

• Applicants in Class 12 or awaiting the results are also eligible to apply provisionally. This means that they would be requireed to present their Class 12 marksheet, school leaving certificate, transfer certificate, etc. at the time of admission. If the candidate fails to submit the required documents, then, their candidature will be cancelled. 

No, clearing the IPMAT exam and matching the cutoff criteria is only the first phase of the IPMAT admission process. Candidates will have to go through for further selection procedure conducted by the participating institutes for the second phase. The IPMAT scores are accepted by IIM Indore, IIFT,  NICMAR Institute of Ranchi,  NICMAR University,  NICMAR University,  Department of Management Studies, NALSAR University of Law and Institute of Management, Nirma University Candidates need to meet the cutoff criteria of the participating institutes to take admissions. The admission process includes Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI).

Other factors such as academic record, work experience, etc. are also considered for admission to various institutes which accept IPMAT scores. IPMAT score is only the first parameter on which the candidates are shortlisted for admission. The institutes first shortlist the candidates for WAT, GD and PI on the basis of their IPMAT scores, marks obtained in Class 10 and Class 12. For the final selection, the institutes take IPMAT scores, performance in GD/PI, What, Class 10 and Class 12 marks, work experience, academic diversity and gender diversity into consideration. 

The IPMAT result will be declared online after the exam is conducted. The IPMAT result cum scorecard is an important document for the IIM Indore's admission process. The following details are mentioned on every candidate's IPMAT scorecard:

1. Name of the candidate
2. IPMAT application number
3. Candidate's photograph
4. Candidate's signatures
5. Overall score obtained by the candidate
6. Sectional scores obtained by the candidate
7. Rank of the candidate

The IPMAT result 2025 will likely release in the month of June 2025. The IPMAT exam 2025 will be conducted on May 12, 2025, in a computer-based test mode. Once the exam is conducted, the exam conducting authority, IIM Indore will release the answer key for the IPMAT exam in a few days. The objection filing window will also open after the answer key is released. Once the objections raised by the aspirants are weighed and checked, the varisty will release the IPMAT result thereafter.

The IPMAT scores are accepted by IIM Indore, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT),  Indian Institute of Ranchi,  Alliance University,   Department of Management Studies, NALSAR University of Law and Institute of Management, Nirma University  After the results, the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, releases the IPMAT cutoffs category-wise and invite applicants to appear for Written Ability Test, Group Discussion GD and Personal Interview rounds for admissions. Candidates can register themselves on the official websites of the participating institutes and take part in the IPMAT counselling process. The IPMAT admission process after the result declaration includes:

1. Applications to be sent out to the institutes where you want to take admission.
2. Participating in the counselling process which includes Written Ability Test (What), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
3. Submitting the required documents to the institutes where you have been shortlisted.
4. Paying the course fee and getting an admission confirmation.

No, there is no provision of re-evaluation of the IPMAT scores.
