IPMAT 2025 Exam Date (OUT): Get IIM Indore Registration & Exam Dates

IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Indore, for admission to integrated MBA programme offered by the institute. The exam pattern for IPMAT is as follows: 

Section 1: Verbal Ability: This section tests the candidate's English language skills. It consists of 50 MCQs. The section tests the candidate's understanding of topics such as Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, etc.

Section 2: Quantitative Aptitude: This section tests the candidate's quantitative skills. It consists of 25 MCQs and the second part of this section carries 25 short answer type questions. The section tests the candidate's knowledge of topics such as Arithmetic, Algebra Geometry, Trigonometry etc. 

For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded four marks each and for every incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted from the overall score. This means, if the candidate has got ten correct answers, then, he/she will be awarded 40 marks in the total score. The IPMAT question paper has sectional timing of 40 minutes per section which the students must adhere to. 

IIM Indore will announce the IPMAT dates and schedule. The IPMAT 2025 exam will be conducted on May 12, 2025. The registrations for IPMAT 2025 will likely begin in the second week of February 2025. The registration window will likley be open for a month approximately and will close in the month of March 2025. The IPMAT admission process is completely online and the schedule will also be announced online on the official website. The IPMAT 2025 exam will be conducted in one shift only (afternoon shift) like every year. 3. Minimum Percentage: General and Non-Creamy Other Backward Classes (NC-OBC) category candidates must have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the Class 10 and Class 12 standard examinations. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PWD) categories, a minimum of 55% aggregate marks is required.

Yes, there is maximum age limit to appear for the IPMAT exam. The students appearing for the IPMAT exam must be a maximum of 20 years of age as of July 31, 2024. The IPMAT exam is open to students who have recently passed Class 12 or are still awating the Class 12 results. 1. The candidate must have qualified for the IPMAT exam by obtaining the minimum qualifying marks

2. Candidates must have completed their Class 10 and Class 12 from a recognised board or institute.

3. Candidates from all nationalities can apply for the IPMAT counselling

4. The candidate must meet the eligibility criteria for the desired course for admission based on IPMAT.

5. The candidate must have all the required documents as required at the time of document verification. Candidates who fulfil the above eligibility criteria can participate in IPMAT counselling process. 

IPMAT application process 2025 will likely start in the second week of February 2025. The registration window will be open for approximately a month. IPMAT 2025 will be conducted on May 12, 2025. The complete schedule of IPMAT exam will be announced online and will also be available on the official website of IIM Indore. The application schedule for IIFT will be announced on the official website of IIFT. The IPMAT application process begins with the IPMAT registration and application fee payment. Candidates need to submit their IPMAT application form before the deadline. The medium of IPMAT question paper is English. The structure of the IPMAT exam has not changed from the past few years. The latest IPMAT question paper structure is as follows:

• The IPMAT exam will be conducted in the computer-based test. The duration of the exam is 120 minutes (2 hours).
• The exam consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Short-Form Questions carrying four marks each.
• The questions are from two different sections, namely Verbal Ability and Quantitative Aptitude. The QA section is divided into two parts.
• There is a negative marking of one mark for each incorrect answer. The total marks for the exam are 100.
