JSAT exam pattern is prescribed by the university in line with common entrance exams in India UG admissions. The JSAT question paper comprises 120 questions in MCQ format to be completed in 120 minutes. JSAT, conducted by  O.P. Jindal Global University, is a home proctored online exam, which means that candidates can appear for the test from any location. All they need is a laptop/desktop with webcam and internet connection. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. Q:   What is JSAT entrance test at OP Jindal University?

Jindal Scholastic Aptitude Test or JSAT is a common entrance test conducted by O.P. Jindal Global University in home-proctored online mode for admission to a number of undergraduate courses in Management, Law, Commerce and Humanities streams. Candidates can schedule their test as per their convenience during the application/test window. Three retakes are allowed to every applicant. The best scores of all the attempts taken into consideration for further admission round. Candidates can seek admission through national level tests as well. The minimum score requirement is:

Entrance Exams:

  • SAT - 1100 & Above
  • UGAT/CUET ≥ 60 Percentile
  • ACT - 27 Points
  • JSAT - Minimum 50% (Overall)

JSAT Exam Retake Policy 2025

  • If any candidate wishes to improve their JSAT 2025 scores, they can schedule a retake test by paying the required exam fee.
  • O.P. Jindal University allows three retakes with INR 1,020 fee per retake

Q:   Is there any negative marking in JSAT exam?

A:

No, there is no negative marking in JSAT. Candidates must understand that JSAT is essentially an aptitude test. It doesn't need extensive preparation and coaching. Basic English comprehension, quantitative and logical reasoning aptitude is tested in this exam. Candidates can prepare for with basic practice and need not worry about the marking scheme as the cut offs are in mid range for admission.
