The evaluation work of CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th board exam answer sheets will take one to one and a half months, a CBSE official confirmed. According to reports, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) completed only 30 per cent of the paper evaluation of CBSE class 10 and class 12 students so far. While talking about the pending examinations, another Board official informed that CBSE will be conducting pending board exams only the important papers and the dates will be announced 10 days in advance.

The CBSE official also revealed around two lakh teachers will be involved in the evaluation work of the CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th board exam 2020 answer sheets. Approximately, papers of 36 lakh students are there to be evaluated. The official also confirmed that the board is working on plan A only and there is no plan B so far to be executed.

The CBSE postponed the class 10 and class 12 examinations in the month of March due to the nationwide lockdown imposed in order to contain the novel coronavirus spread. Later, according to a notification released in the first week of April, the Board decided to conduct remaining papers for main subjects only.

According to reports, the Board will release CBSE Class 10 Date Sheet 2020 and CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2020 for pending exams 10 days in advance. Also, the board will need approximately 10 days to conduct the exams again.

Meanwhile, Delhi Education Minister, Manish Sisodia while attending the education ministers' meeting called by the Union Human Resource asked the government to promote the CBSE 10th and 12th students without holding the pending examinations. He further suggested the government to release CBSE 10th Result 2020 and CBSE 12th Result 2020 based on the internal marks.
