CBSE Board Exams 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in its latest notification informed CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th students regarding the change of examination centre. The provision has been given especially for students residing in other cities, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students must note that in order to apply for a change in exam city or country, candidates will have to make a request to their respective school. The last date to make the request is November 10. Following this, the school will send requests to the exam conducting body on the board’s website by 12 November.
The official notification released by CBSE reads, “The facility for change of examination city/ country will be available to the students who are residing in some other city or country and not in the city or country where they are studying because of COVID.” CBSE has released the official notice regarding the change in the exam centre on the official website, cbse.nic.in. According to CBSE term-1 board examination 2021 dates for Classes 10 and 12, CBSE 10th Board Exams will begin on November 17 and CBSE 12th Board Exams will begin on November 16. Further in the notification, CBSE informed that students appearing for boards can apply for a change in examination city for either practical, theory or both theory and practical tests.
How to change exam centre for CBSE Term-I Exams 2021-22?
- Students willing to change their examination centre or city for the CBSE Term-I examination are required to approach their respective schools for the same.
- Students will get the option to choose only one city as the centre of examination for both theory and practical exams.
- While making the request, students are requested to mention the city (state or country) where he/she would prefer to appear for the exam.
- If any student wants to opt for a change in the city centre for the theory exam, then he/she will have to compulsorily appear in the practical examination from the school of her/his regular studies.
- The Board will not entertain any request or query after the last date mentioned on the official notice.
