CBSE releases revised schedule for exams postponed in Northeast Delhi due to violence

As per the new schedule, the CBSE 12th exams will commence on March 31 and will conclude on April 14, while for CBSE Class 10, the exams will take place between March 21 and March 30.

 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a new schedule for the CBSE board exams for classes 10^th and 12^th for northeast Delhi students after the exams were postponed in the area in view of the CAA violence. As per the new schedule, the CBSE 12th exams will commence on March 31 and will conclude on April 14, while for CBSE Class 10, the exams will take place between March 21 and March 30.

Provided below is the new schedule released by the CBSE for Northeast Delhi students:

Earlier, the CBSE had postponed the exams in the area till February 29 in the wake of the violence against the Citizenship Amendment Act. However, the exams were conducted as per the original schedule from March 2 onwards as the board officials said that any further delay would hamper the students’ prospects in undergraduate admission. Over 200 people were injured while 53 people were killed in the violence in the northeast Delhi, as per the Delhi government.
