The total tuition fee at IIM Ranchi for IPM is INR 15.48 Lacs divided equally in 9 installments. Caution deposit of INR 20,000, Alumni Fee of INR 10,000, and Student Activity fee INR 15,000 is not included in the tuition fee and have to be paid along with the 1^st installment.

Aspirants can join the IIM Ranchi IPM course after class 12. It is full time 5-year integrated course comprising Undergraduate and postgraduate management programmes (BBA-MBA). At the completion of IPM students will be awarded an MBA degree. 

• For admission at IIM Ranchi in IPM, candidates are required to appear for the IPMAT examination followed by PI round which will be conducted virtually by IIM Ranchi.

Yes, IIM Ranchi will be accepting IPMAT scores for admission to the course. The admission process comprises of three stages as mentioned below:

• Shortlisting for PI process: A preliminary selection will be made from the pool of applicants, consisting of candidates who qualify for the Personal Interview (PI) stage for admission to the IPM course at IIM Ranchi. This initial shortlist will be solely determined by the performance of applicants in IPMAT (administered by IIM Indore).
• Personal Interview Round: The Personal Interview round of shortlisted candidates will be conducted virtually by IIM Ranchi.
• Final admission offers: The final admission offers are made based on a Consolidated merit list (CML) that comprises of following components:

The 5-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) offered by IIM Ranchi is a highly competitive programme that combines undergraduate and postgraduate education in management. To be eligible for the programme, candidates must have passed the Class 12 examination or its equivalent with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) in aggregate. In addition to the academic eligibility criteria, candidates must also appear for an entrance exam to qualify for admission to the IPM programme at IIM Ranchi. The entrance exam for the programme is usually conducted in the month of April and is called the Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT). The IPMAT exam is a computer-based test that assesses the candidate's aptitude in quantitative ability, verbal ability, and logical reasoning. The exam consists of two sections, each with a duration of two hours. The first section tests the candidate's quantitative ability and data interpretation skills, while the second section assesses their verbal ability and logical reasoning. No, IIM Ranchi does not provide direct admissions to any of the IIM Ranchi courses. The institute has a predefined admission process that all candidates need to follow.

• The first stage includes meeting the eligibility criteria. Candidates can check eligibility for all courses here. After matching the eligibility criteria, the candidate has to appear for the respective entrance examination.

Note: Admission to Executive MBA is done through Personal Interview only. The candidates are not required to appear for any entrance exam.

• The candidates who are able to meet the cut-off are then communicated for the second round which is a PI (Personal Interview) round.
• The final stage includes admission offers for IIM Ranchi, based on a Consolidated Merit List (CML), which is generally prepared based on entrance exam scores, personal interview scores, and academic profile.

As per the IIM CAP criteria, the qualifying CAT cut off for the batch of 2023-25 is 93 percentile for the General category students. So students belonging to the General category can not get into IIM Rnachi with 85 percentile. However, other categories student can easily get a call for the Personal Interview (PI) round for IIM Ranchi admission. Final selection, however, is entirely depends on candidates' performance in the PI round. Apart from PI, IIM final selection process also consider other criteria such as Verbal Comprehension, Verbal Comprehension and Verbal Comprehension, among others.

Candidates are required to take the Common Admission Test (CAT) to gain admission to the flagship programme, MBA in General Management, at IIM Ranchi. There is no official update regarding the hostel fee at IIM Ranchi. However, as per some unofficial sources, it costs INR 1.20 lakh (approximately). The housing facility at IIM Ranchi consists of separate blocks for girls and boys. IIM Ranchi has a fully Wi-Fi-enabled campus. The housing facility consists of a mix of three- and four-bedroom shared flats that are fully furnished, serviced, and equipped with five-star facilities. Each block consists of a mess and a canteen, which remain open for nearly 20 hours a day on average, and a dispensary for medical concerns. Each floor of the block is equipped with a common announcement system.
