Q:   How is the overall infrastructure of Bangalore Institute of Technology?

A:
{Source: B.Tech students & alumni]

Bangalore Institute of Technology has a moderate academic schedule with 5-15 lectures per week, and semester-based exams. The teaching methodology focuses on textbook-based lectures and case studies, with easy exam preparation. The college has a well-stocked library and provides research resources for students. Security measures include guards and CCTV cameras, and outsiders cannot enter the campus without permission. The college strictly prohibits ragging and has a zero tolerance policy towards it.

Based on the reviews provided, the overall infrastructure of the college appears to be mixed. Some reviewers have reported poor infrastructure, including old classrooms and hostels, lack of Wi-Fi and dirty washrooms. However, other reviewers have had a more positive experience, mentioning good hostel accommodations, healthy food and well-maintained facilities such as the library.

It seems that some areas of the college may require improvement, particularly in terms of providing better internet access and upgrading certain facilities to meet modern standards. On the other hand, the college has made efforts to provide clean and healthy living conditions for its students, which is appreciated by some reviewers.

Overall, the quality of infrastructure at the college appears to vary depending on the specific facility or area. It is important for prospective students to carefully research and evaluate the college's infrastructure before making a decision.

Dissatisfied because of faculty (C-programming) and infrastructure is short, but good facilities.
Placements: Well, I don't know much about that, but what I heard from seniors is not to depend on college placements. We know that the average package is 7 LPA and the highest is less than 30 LPA. I am from the 1st year in this college, and top recruiters are Amazon, etc.
Infrastructure: This college has better infrastructure, and also canteens are available on the campus with good quality of food. But the main disadvantage of this college is that the area of the campus is very small, and it feels congested. You can see a dental college, law college, and MBA college within 100 meters, but the college is in the city center.
Faculty: Exams are above average; it is very difficult to score 100 percent, but it is somewhat easy to pass. In exams, some lecturers correct papers liberally, and some lecturers correct very strictly, but it depends on the lecturers in this Bangalore Institute of Technology.
Other: If the student is from KCET, the fee for one year is 1,07,000, and the extra fee is 28,000. If you stay in the college hostel, it costs about 1,30,000. The total sum costs more than ten lakhs for 4 years, even from a government seat. If the seat is management, it costs a total of 40 lakhs for 4 years, where 10 lakhs per year; however, it is not value for money. I would give 3 stars for that, but campus life is ultimately good.

The teaching faculty is not that good, but we can expect good placements.
Placements: In the CSE department, around 70 percent of students have got placed. The highest package is 58 LPA in Microsoft (off-campus), the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average package is 7 to 8 LPA. Top companies are Fidelity Investments, Cisco, Everts, Dell, Oracle, and Goldman Sachs. 20 percent of students got an internship in Amazon, Cisco, Fidelity Investments, Oracle, and Goldman Sachs. Roles offered include SDE, Java Developer, Full Stack Developer, Business Analyst, and Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good. There is Wi-Fi available, and the library is quite good. The food quality is good for lunch and dinner, but the breakfast is not always good. There are no sports and games facilities, but medical facilities are available. If there is any medical emergency, they will help out.
Faculty: In VTU, it's not about the teachers, but in our college, a few teachers are well-qualified and explain well, which helps the students. However, not every teacher explains well. I would rate the teaching quality around 3. It depends on how you self-study, as not every teacher is good at explaining concepts. I would say the course curriculum doesn’t make you industry-ready; we have to study extra courses and apply them practically. The semester exams are a little tough because it’s a university. The pass percentage would be around 60 to 70%.
Other: I chose this course because it is an edge for the information technology domain. The best thing about this course is that you can apply your knowledge to build websites and implement your thoughts practically. I wish I had known about the internship opportunities and the coding languages I should have learned before joining this course, as that might have helped me. The college organizes a fest once every two years. The campus crowd is fine, and the alumni network is huge. The campus is actually located in the center of the city.

My opinion on Bangalore Institute of Technology.
Placements: Our college invites many top companies for hiring. Many students are placed this year looking at their academic achievements. Some companies like Mercedes Benz, Toyota, etc., visited the college to hire students. Students from the 5th semester start to get their internships.
Infrastructure: The network inside the college is terrible. Students cannot find a single place where they will get a good network connection. Wi-Fi present in the college is just for decoration, and nobody knows the password of it. The only place where students can get the Wi-Fi is the stationary shop present inside the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are the worst, and most of them do not really care if students are able to understand their teaching. They just come to the class speak and go, as they have no connection with the students. Exams are pretty easy. Faculty members either do not care about students writing exams and give students marks based on the quantity of the answers or make you miserable by detecting marks for the slightest mistake.

Review of Bangalore Institute of Technology.
Placements: About 80% of students get placed. Placement is good in the computer science department and in the information science department; also, placement is okay in mechanical and civil. The placement is good for software; electronics is quite good. The average salary is 8 lacs.
Infrastructure: No infrastructure, no campus, no playground, and it is located in the heart of the city, and the hospital is nearby, and the medical college is also there, and the classrooms are good, the washrooms are good, and the facility is also good. Education is also good nearby; no place is there to. Visit.
Faculty: Academics are good, and the curriculum is quite good, and the faculty are nice. Education is good, and there are many exams and labs, and you have internal and external exams. You can study well in this college and get placement. Studies are good, and the crowd is also good and okay.
Other: No campus life and no social life; do not expect anything. The college is located at the heart of the city, and the medical college is also there, and the hospital is beside our college, and the metro is near our college, so transportation is easy.

One of the Kannada Actress Sapthami Gowda who acted in KANTARA is our colleges alumni.
Placements: The placement record at this college is impressive. Over 60% of the students were placed last year, with the highest package being 24 LPA and the lowest being 6 LPA. Companies that recruited students included Google, Cognizant, Microsoft, TCS, and Cisco, among others. Additionally, over 70% of the students received internships with reasonable stipends, and were offered roles such as data scientist and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Our college has topnotch infrastructure, including greenery, proximity to transportation, and clean labs and classrooms. The hostel is very good and clean, and the mess and canteen provide healthy and good food. It is perfect for a student to stay in that kind of environment.
Faculty: The lecturers were very helpful and cooperative when it came to studies. They were highly qualified in their respective subjects. The course was very relevant and prepared students for the outside industrial world. The semesters were pretty difficult, but the guidance was very good. The pass percentage was 65% and above.
Other: I chose this course because software is the future. These days, almost everything needs software to work. The course would be even better if the code was shorter. My college has a lot of festivals, including Kannada Kalarava and Mantthan.

Exceptional Education Experience:A comprehensive review of my college.
Placements: As of now, in the month of March, there are only 350 odd students placed among 1200 of students. Looking at the percentage, it is 30%. The highest package is 56 LPA, the lowest package is 3.5 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Telstra, Dailmer Trucks, Cisco, Phonepe, Goldman Sachs, Unisys, Harman, Planview, etc. The roles are data engineer, Java developer, and business development analyst. Not many of them got internships; only a few got internships in the same above-mentioned companies. The top role is a development role.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really poor, which comprises of two buildings: a main block and a block for mechanical and civil studies. The main block has 7 floors with various branches accompanied by it. There is no college Wi-Fi; you can get Wi-Fi in the library and departments only. Labs aren't too big or too small, just decent enough to perform. Classrooms are good and spacious. The library is also good with different books, and there is also a digital library. Hostel is provided by the college itself for both boys and girls. Boys' hostel is located nearer to the college, whereas the girls' hostel is a few smiles away from college but has bus facility for them. The food is exceptionally good in both hostels. There is a college canteen which lets us order South Indian/North Indian and Chinese food items. To be very honest, no medical facilities are available. Coming to the sports and games, you get limited opportunity for it. Volleyball and indoor games are given importance. There are rest all the sports competed, but practices are done outside the college as this college doesn't have its own ground.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and highly qualified, with most of them having their Ph.D. This college is highly ranked when it comes to education. It comes under VTU university where the question papers and evaluation are done by the university. The curriculum is relevant as it helps in getting jobs. If you study previous papers of VTU, you can easily pass, and the pass percentage is 35.
Other: I had my interest in the IT sector, so I chose this course. The campus should be a little bigger, and they should encourage students in sports and other extra activities. There will be a college fest held every year in odd semesters named MANTHAN. Campus crowd is huge. Connectivity is through bus and metro, which are very near to the college. Surroundings are mostly educational institutes. Most students get their scholarships from SSP and NSP. There are only a few extracurricular activities.
