Placements were really low in the last two years (2023-2024), but this time (2025) it's satisfactory

Placements: 70% of students were placed. Conditions will be more good from this year and more companies are expected to visit the college for internships and placements. The highest was 45 Lacs, the lowest was 3 Lacs, and the average is 4-5 Lacs. Skillcart, etc. are two recruiting companies. 60-80% got internships. The top role offered is web developer.

I am absolutely satisfied with our college in placements, events, etc.

Placements: Placement in electronics and communication is very bad; if we SEE placement % of electronics, it is around 30% There are fewer companies for ECE; they prefer CU students in placements for placed first. I had chosen non-TTP because there are not placements for ECE students .

Great experience of life.

Placements: Placement record is fabulous in my college. There are many well-known companies offering fantastic packages, and there is a lot of things to learn from those companies. Every student got a chance to showcase their abilities to them and learn the best things for the future.

Welcome to CGC Landran. It is a good college.

Placements: Placements are not too good but averagely satisfied. You will have to compete with CU and Jhanjheri College of Chandigarh university to sit on the placement program, but you will get many chances, like events are conducted to boost your resume and that is nice.

CGC Landran B.Tech CSE Department

Placements: For placement, I think our college is good because I know many seniors who are not very hardworking and serious about their careers, but they get a decent package. The average package of our college is 4-5 Lacs for our CSE department.

Why to choose CGC & why not to.

Placements: Placement is okayish. Our college has a TPP program where they train students to get placements, so if you focus there, you'll be placed for sure. Besides, you need to work hard if you really want to get placements as the competition is too tough here.

The college is overall best and good teacher.

Placements: The placement of Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran, is best because all the students sit in placements, and many students are hired by big companies. So, the placement is best, and all the companies come to the Landran campus and hire students with big packages like 45 Lakh. The minimum package is 12 Lakh.

Good teacher, but infrastructure is bad.

Placements: I have seen placement records from a computer in a lab. Around 1600-2000 students get placed each year from B. Teach. Mostly, students are placed by mass recruiters. 6-7 students are placed by Microsoft or Google. The maximum package ever is 80,00,000, but I think it's an off-campus placement (not sure).

I'm not so satisfied with the faculty yet, but yes, I'm curious to see what they have planned next.

Placements: In our course, around 80-85% of the students get placed by the end of the final year. The percentage could vary from year to year depending upon industry trends, but the average package of our course is standing around 5-8 LPA, with variations depending on the domain and specific companies recruiting. The highest package offered in our course was 46 LPA, and this was typically for top-tier roles in companies like Google, Microsoft, etc. And talking about major roles, we offer software developers...
