What to Expect from Cluster University Srinagar

Placements: The placement at this college is too bad and I have seen none of the students get placed anywhere after finishing the degrees. Though internships are available for students, there is zero to no placement. Almost all the students get an internship in different companies like banks and other industries.

Review of Abdul Ahad Azad Memorial College, Cluster University ,Srinagar.

Placements: I am currently pursuing BSc honors in zoology. We are about 150+ student's in the same standard. The degree is for 4 years. There is no placement in our college but a student can go through various fields after completing the degree. There are no roles offered by the university, college, or company directly.

Campus Chronicles would be a good titles for this review.

Placements: Our course does not bring any placements. As it is an Arts subject, no company hires us. We are solely preparing for competitive exams such as Union Public Service Commission, Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission, JKSSB, and other autonomous bodies examinations.

I am not satisfied with this college because of its faculty members, campus, and food service.

Placements: About 200 students got placed in our course. The salary packages are not offered to students. Top companies won't visit our college to recruit students. All banks and small-scale companies visit our college to recruit students. Students have not got internships.

Bad experience, bad facilities.

Placements: Not a single student was placed by the college or the university in my course. But they got jobs on their own, almost 30% of students got jobs in different companies/organizations. Students got the minimum package of 1.5 -2 Lacs per annum and a maximum package of 4-5 Lacs per annum. BIPL ( Rehmat spices, ICICI bank ). All of the students got their internships offered from the university in different companies, most of the students did their internships from Jammu & Kashmir Bank ( finance BRANCH)...

I am very satisfied with the teachers, and availability of facilities in laboratories.

Placements: Around 80% of students are placed every year in top companies in different districts of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, and also outside Jammu and Kashmir. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6.2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Reliance, Jio, Indusland Bank, Jammu and Kashmir Bank, Tata Motors, and Mahindra are the top recruiting companies.

It has developed infrastructure and good teaching faculty. Overall it is a genuine college to study.

Placements: I didn't see any company recruiting during our course. Most of the students who took admission here don't even know why they are doing this course. This college is very good for those who don't want to waste their time.

I have a below-average experience here.

Placements: I think less than 10% of the students got placed. I am not quite sure about the average package, but I think it could be less than 1.5 LPA. I am not quite sure about the companies that visit our college for placements, but local banks visit here. I think internships are not that common, but some of my friends did get an internship. Less than 15% of students got internships.

Overall, the college is satisfying.

Placements: Cluster University Srinagar does not have an on-campus placement cell. Companies do not visit our college to recruit students for placements. You have to appear in a state recruitment board exam for the job. The salary package offered to students ranges from 3-4 LPA. Almost 100% of the students from our course got an internship.

I'm disappointed with this college.

Placements: Our college didn't support students in providing placements. The salary packages and recruiting companies were not provided. Skills required to get placements were not provided to students in our college. Internships provided were unpaid and had many restrictions.

This College is really very beautiful. Needs Improvement in Infrastructure.

Placements: There were almost a thousand students studying in my course. The highest package was Rs 3,00,000. The average was Rs 1,75,000, and the lowest was Rs 85,000. Many top recruiting agencies came, like SSC, JKSSB, etc. Almost 70 per cent of students got internships at different companies.

Everything is great in this college.

Placements: SRM offers placements to a very large number of students and when I say large, I really mean it. The placements committee tend to get recruits who hire in large scale. So, TCS, ACCENTURE, WIPRO etc. are a few of them. Most of the IT companies are the main recruiters here. They offer a standard 3 points package. There are good opportunities for CS.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of all the reasons mentioned.

Placements: I would say that less than 5 percent of students got placed in my course which is Integrated MBA or I-MBA. I think the highest package offered was one Lacs rupees. I am not quite sure about the lowest but I would say that the average was around eight thousand rupees per month. Top recruiting companies were local banks such as JK Bank. I think all the students got internships because it is a part of the course itself so you have to take it. Most of the students got entry level jobs.

Totally loved the experience. Well educated teachers. Highly ranked university Well maintained .

Placements: About 69% of students were placed in B.A. in English. Many packages were offered according to previous performance. Some foreign groups and companies also came for recruitment. About top 15 % of students are eligible for a good and quality internship. Many courses according to your choice are available .

The infrastructure is average, the faculty are biased and the management is bad.

Placements: There are no placements in the college, which is really sad for the students. During my time in the college, no one among the administration ever spoke about it, as no such thing existed. No company ever came to the college for recruitment of the students. I think not a single student from our college has got any internship through it. The management must look into it.

I am satisfied with our college.

Placements: About 30% of the students got placed in our course. Our college offers many courses like B.Com, B.A, B.Sc . and many other courses. The average salary offered in our course was about Rs. 30,000 per month which, in my opinion, it is quite relevant because of the quality of the teachers and other facilities provided by the college administration.

Iam absolutely dissatisfied with the college claim of providing good education and placement.

Placements: No placement facility available in this college. However in 2013, job fair mela was organised in this college and many companies like Jammu and Kashmir bank, Life insurance corporation, entrepreneurship development institute came to offer loans and incentives so that people can start their own start up but it failed.
