Honest opinion about my college
Placements: There was no placement opportunity in our college.
Nobody got a job after completing the course.
There was no company recruiting from my course.
Nobody got an internship. But a few good students went for a master’s degree at Jadavpur University/Calcutta University.
Infrastructure: There was no Wi-Fi connectivity. There are two good labs for physics experiments, well equipped with instruments. Classrooms are good, and the library is also good.
The hostel is not that good. Food was available. No medical facilities. There was no space for sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers were well qualified and knowledgeable, but they were not helpful at all. Teaching quality is average. You have to prepare the topics on your own.
The course curriculum is relevant, but it does not make one student industry-ready.
Semester exams are difficult to pass. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: Learning Physics was my passion, that is why I chose that course. Physics is called the father of science.
The syllabus and question pattern should be changed. That should be innovative.
There are not many opportunities. The college fair is there. The campus is average. There are a few government scholarships as well. There are no extracurricular activities.

Good infrastructure and well maintained college best for in this budget
Placements: Placement session haven't started yet. I am a second year student and according to the college fees structure, the facilities they're providing is quite nice if you are looking for a government college then you can surely go for it. The teachers, staffs and other seniors are all well behaved and supporting.
Infrastructure: There are all the decent facilities available like library, clean and neat classrooms. WiFi computer labs are there for each department, for each and every stream. Subject canteen is also available and game room is also there with air conditioning. We can chill there and spend some quality time.
Faculty: Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose College in Kolkata offers various undergraduate courses in arts, science, and commerce. The faculty is generally well-regarded, with students appreciating the guidance provided by teachers. Professors are known for being approachable and supportive, though some students feel that additional effort outside of college is necessary to excel in exams. The college conducts its semester exams as per Calcutta University regulations. Students often find the classroom environment conducive to learning, with well-maintained facilities. Additionally, the college places importance on extracurricular activities, blending academics with cultural events to enrich student life.

Absolute dissatisfied with the placement, moderate faculty, basic infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: I am currently pursuing the bachelor of commerce honors course from the Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose college. The role offered from this course is of an accountant of a company and the highest package offered from this course is 2 to 3 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: The college is fully ensured with the wifi facility provided all along the college. There are many labs each for different departments of the college. There is a library in the college which has over 20000+ books of different courses which gives vital information about the course.
Faculty: The teachers of this college are highly qualified who takes keen interest in giving knowledge to the student at their fullest. The exams for this course is taken in a semester based examination. There are 2 semesters in a year which again contains internal exam and external exams which are moderate to pass.
Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue CA as a profession and Bcom is the only way to do. It must add more deep and generous knowledge about the course.

Review of Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose College.
Placements: As a second-year student as much as I've heard placements at our college aren't very good. Many top companies like TCS, etc., visit our college for placements. Our college authorities must work on the placement cell for more students to get opportunities.
Infrastructure: Our college does not provide any hostel facilities.
Faculty: Our teachers are top-notch. They are expertise in their respective fields. The semester exams are held as per Calcutta University guidelines. Internal exams which are being held inside the college are taken by paying proper attention to every student.
Other: Our course is beautifully designed. Students who did not get good marks in their 12th examinations can also get admission to our college. If you're planning to pursue B.Com with your CA, CS, and CMA this is the best college you can opt for. For the course structure, I'm giving a 4 star. The only con is that our college stays closed most of the time.

Review of Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose College.
Placements: Placements are not guaranteed every year. It depends on the facilities provided by the college, marks, and cutoffs of the previous year's exams. A few well-known companies, such as Motilal Oswal, came for placements. Some of the students were selected for the role of accountant.
Infrastructure:
The infrastructure of our college is not very good. Our college provides good facilities. Classrooms should be updated and improved according to the standards of today's generation. Many classrooms have broken and damaged infrastructure. The college is still under construction.
Faculty: Our teachers are average. There is no systematic approach to everything. Additionally, there are no extracurricular activities or festivals organised by the campus. The exams are held by Calcutta University. They are conducted on a semester basis. It is mandatory to clear all exams to complete the course.
Other:
I opted for this course because of my interest in it. The best thing about this course is that it has the best teachers who are always willing to help and make everything understandable. They should improve their environment and develop their infrastructure. Our college is very safe and clean. The food served in the canteen is affordable.

Balanced learning experience in AJC.
Placements: Acharya Jagdish Chandra Bose College offers limited placements and internships to B.Com students. Companies like TCS and APT visit our college with an average salary package of 2.4 LPA - 3.5 LPA. Internship opportunities are available but are not a significant focus, and many students pursue internships independently.
Infrastructure: We have well-ventilated classrooms suitable for traditional teaching. I would say it has average infrastructure. Labs for science students are decent. There are limited facilities benefiting B.Com students. Wi-Fi is available, but it is very slow. Our college doesn't provide on-campus hostel facilities, but many students rely on private PGs.
Faculty: Our faculty members are experienced and focused on traditional teaching methods, while most professors are approachable and very helpful. Our college follows the guidelines of Calcutta University. The B.Com course includes 6 semesters over 3 years. Exams are conducted twice a year with internal assessments.
