Is B.E./B.Tech at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research worth the investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

* Pros:
+ Good infrastructure, including clean classrooms, labs, and a library with a wide range of books.
+ Well-educated and helpful teachers.
+ Average package of INR4-5 lakhs, with the highest package reaching up to INR18 lakhs.
+ Placement rates are generally satisfactory, with around 60-70% of students getting placed.
+ Various campus events and festivals, including the annual ARDOR festival.
* Cons:
+ Limited hostel facilities, forcing students to find alternative accommodation.
+ Internet connectivity issues and jamming devices restricting students' online activity.
+ Curriculum may be considered outdated, focusing more on theoretical aspects rather than practical skills.
+ Strict rules and regulations, giving students limited freedom.
* Additional notes:
+ Scholarship options are available for meritorious students.
+ Internship opportunities are scarce, but companies like Infosys, TCS, and others recruit students.

However, individuals seeking more autonomy or modernized curricula may want to explore other options. Ultimately, individual preferences and priorities will play a crucial role in determining whether this college is "worth" the investment.

Overall, the college is good, and placements are also good.
Placements: 30% students are placed. The highest package was 9 LPA and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. There are many companies like Deloitte, Consulted, Yash Technologies, Tech Mahindra, etc. 25 percent of students got internships in different domains like web development, UI/UX, etc.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities in my college like clean and comfortable washrooms, clean water for drinking, a library, and Wi-Fi connection in labs. In my college, there is no hostel facility, but there is a bus facility. Yes, in AITR, there is a canteen available. They provide fast food, tea, coffee, and also thali.
Faculty: Yes, some teachers' behavior is up to the mark and some teachers' behavior is not good. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The exams are difficult, but if students give their 100 percent, then the exam is not so difficult.

The college has an excellent environment .
Placements: The Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research boasts a placement percentage of around 85%. Students also receive high packages that can reach about 12 LPA, with an average of about 5 LPA. Strong employers in this area include TCS, Capgemini, Amazon, Bajaj, and HCL. The roles offered are software development, data analytics, and consulting.
Infrastructure: Acropolis Institute has a number of amenities, including high-speed Wi-Fi, well-furnished labs, digital classrooms, and a stocked library. The hostels are decent, and hygienic food is served in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities include a dispensary that caters to basic health requirements and sports facilities for some indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: Acropolis does not seem to have a dearth of support since teachers are competent, able, and quite knowledgeable. The curriculum is very well placed with the industry so students can be effective in the work environment. Papers have a little degree of difficulty, and the pass percentage is fair among the hardworking students.
Other: I chose this course because it was very much aligned to the industry and also very practical-oriented. The good things are labs for practice and faculty who make classes fun. Bad things as such: None, but I think if there were more updated resources in terms of technology we work on, industry tie-ups could be increased. The campus is going to have a great life with lots of events, fests, and internships; the crowd will be great.

Great for you if you want to be placed, but if you want a better campus life, this is not the one.
Placements: In the last few years, due to the recession, rarely companies visited our college for recruitment. This year's scenario has been completely different. Mass companies visited our college and offered exceptionally high packages. The highest salary package offered is around 28 LPA. Around 2 students got placed in the AIML CSE batch.
Infrastructure: There is no such thing. Wi-Fi connection is is not provided by the college. In the first year, we even struggled for the basic mobile network so that should be kept in mind. There is no hostel or mess. Our canteen is average. Medical facilities are average. Sports and games are where our college shines every year. It is because of students' talent and hard work.
Faculty: Teachers are of great quality. They are relentlessly working in the direction of students' placements. The course curriculum might not be that relevant but it's not quite hectic too so wouldn't complain about it. Semester exams are not very difficult even if you study religiously during the break given in between exams. Students can easily pass all exams.
Other: Our course is AIML CSE. The better crowd would have been helpful. All fests are below average. Our college focuses more on academics.

Good for placement and for study.
Placements: Our college brings a good number of companies for recruitment, and almost all the students get a chance to sit in the placement. Almost 100% of students who are preparing for placement get a placement from our college. The placement completely depends on the student and their skills. Top recruiting for our compus is TCS, and top roles they offer is SDE.
Infrastructure: The college has very good infrastructure for each department and subject. The labs are well-equipped with computers and smart projectors for hands-on experience. The library has a good environment for study, and a wide variety of books for students to read and learn. However, the college does not provide hostel facilities.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful and understanding. Most of them have a Ph.D. in their subject, so they are very knowledgeable. The semester exams are a bit challenging, especially M1 and M2, but if we attend class regularly and study the material, they are quite manageable.
Other: I'd like to add that, in addition to academics, the college also focuses on students' overall development by organizing extracurricular activities such as sports, events, and festivals. If you are looking for an institution that will help you grow as a whole person, this is a good college to attend.

A good college but please come with mind to study not timepass.
Placements: Placements are about 50% but as a lower side for. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA. Companies like Uber, Meesho, Amazon, etc., provide huge opportunities for office-campus getting. The highest salary package offered by Meesho in the last year was 33 LPA. All labs are well-equipped with a good library. Our canteen is average.
Infrastructure: All labs and events, even at IITs, are conducted for educational purposes. There are many events, but first-year students may not be able to participate as much. There is no hostel facility available. I initially faced issues with transportation, but I resolved them later on. Wearing a uniform is compulsory.
Faculty: Semester exams are moderate if you study well. Teachers are helpful. All faculty members are well-educated and knowledgeable. You have to do hard work by yourself. We have assessments. The study is a bit relevant. There is a better syllabus than other universities in India. The passing mark is 23 out of 70. Each subject is considered as 150 marks. There are a lot of assignments and files to complete. If you are coming, make sure to have a mindset focused on studying, as a minimum attendance of 75% is mandatory. Otherwise, students will have to face fines.
Other: Sports are good but not for everyone. 1st year had no chance. Students can play from the 2nd year in many competitions but have to be selected and play well ample amount of games. Clubs and societies are available. Our college conducts good events.

Placements are average. The average package is good, but the number of students placed is less.
Placements: Placements are average. Not a lot of students are placed, though the ones placed have a good salary package. A lot of internal examinations from the college side have to be given to be eligible to sit in the placement drive. Most of the students are not able to clear them and hence become ineligible.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and the facilities are old school and traditional. The library is not that big and has more academic books only. The classes only have fans, no AC or cooler, and they are extremely hot during the summers. The college campus too is not that big. No Wi-Fi is available on the campus, and even the mobile data doesn't work here.
Faculty: The faculty mostly are helpful and friendly. The way of teaching is good. They are nice to the students. Though the curriculum followed is RGPV, I do feel the curriculum is outdated and is not very helpful in today's time. Practical knowledge given to students is not very much.
