Q:   Is MCA at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research worth the investment?

A:
{Source: MCA students & alumni}

Is MCA at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research (AITR) Worth the Investment?

Here's a summary of the key points:

* Faculty Support: Teachers are generally supportive and helpful, although some may behave rudely or not cooperate.
* Course Curriculum: The curriculum is somewhat relevant to current industry standards, but some subjects seem outdated. Additional workshops and training programs are organized to prepare students for the IT industry.
* Placements: Placements are average, with companies like TCS, Tasks, and Deloitte visiting the campus. The average package is around 4-5 LPA, while the highest package is up to 8 LPA.
* Facilities: The campus has well-equipped labs, a good library, and amenities like canteen, cafes, and buses. However, open Wi-Fi is not available everywhere.
* Campus Life: The campus life is good, with regular events and activities organized by various clubs.
* Scholarship: Merit-based scholarships are available, with OBC, ST, and SC students receiving a scholarship of approximately INR30,000 annually.

Based on these points, here's our verdict:

While AITR offers some strengths, such as supportive faculty and decent facilities, its weaknesses, including an outdated curriculum and average placement record, might raise concerns. Students who choose this programme would need to put extra effort into learning beyond the syllabus to stay competitive in the job market. Additionally, those interested in pursuing higher education might find that the integrated nature of the Master's programme is beneficial. Overall, whether AITR is worth the investment depends on individual goals and priorities. We recommend researching further and weighing the pros and cons before making a decision.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Q:   What is the expected JEE Main cutoff 2024?

A:

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. During the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750. Q:   Is B.E. / B.Tech at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research worth the investment?

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is B.E./B.Tech at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research worth the investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

* Pros:
+ Good infrastructure, including clean classrooms, labs, and a library with a wide range of books.
+ Well-educated and helpful teachers.
+ Average package of INR4-5 lakhs, with the highest package reaching up to INR18 lakhs.
+ Placement rates are generally satisfactory, with around 60-70% of students getting placed.
+ Various campus events and festivals, including the annual ARDOR festival.
* Cons:
+ Limited hostel facilities, forcing students to find alternative accommodation.
+ Internet connectivity issues and jamming devices restricting students' online activity.
+ Curriculum may be considered outdated, focusing more on theoretical aspects rather than practical skills.
+ Strict rules and regulations, giving students limited freedom.
* Additional notes:
+ Scholarship options are available for meritorious students.
+ Internship opportunities are scarce, but companies like Infosys, TCS, and others recruit students.
+ Facilities, including food and sports, are generally good, with medical facilities being highly rated.

Considering these pros and cons, investing in a B.E./B.Tech degree at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research may be worthwhile for those who prioritize academics and are willing to compromise on flexibility. However, individuals seeking more autonomy or modernized curricula may want to explore other options. Ultimately, individual preferences and priorities will play a crucial role in determining whether this college is "worth" the investment.

Acropolis: The peaceful college/school.
Placements: This branch was introduced only a year before 2022; therefore, placement has not yet happened. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCL, etc. If we are talking about internships, there are always students doing internships with various organisations. I also look forward to doing so.
Infrastructure: The classrooms in the IT department specifically look quite old and outdated. The desks are old-fashioned, the labs are packed tight, and the washrooms and water cooler are also not maintained in terms of hygiene. The other departments are really impressive, with great infrastructure and facilities.
Faculty: I think all the faculty members are friendly and really helpful. The only problem is facing the assignments' deadlines, which sometimes also cause a bad reputation in the final result. The semester exams are moderately difficult, with the exception of a few subjects like mathematics or BEEE.
Other: They should include more literature and novels in the libraries for the students.

If you want to learn about management events, this college is best, but don't expect any placement.
Placements: There are a lot of filters they apply while selecting students for the placement programme, and at least 70% of the students didn't get placement after their graduation. So that's a minus for most of the students. It is really not a good thing that after spending a lot of money on education, we got nothing.
Infrastructure: The course is actually good. We have some good faculty who teach us very clearly. Some of the faculty members are familiar with students. They understand the problems faced by the students, and some of them are the worst. They didn't pay any attention to whether the student understood the concept clearly or not.
Faculty: They are quite good, but at exam time, if a student makes any illegal move for exams, it doesn't matter how big or small it is. They directly restrain the students, they don't think about anything that may destroy their result and their career. They can give some extra homework or suspend the student for some time after the exam.

Acropolis Insider Review .
Placements: Our college provides good placements in reputed companies such as Consultadd, Wipro, Capgemini, DigiValet, etc., with roles offered by companies such as software developer, web developer, frontend developer, data science engineer, and many more. The highest package is around Rs 15 lacs, and the average package is around Rs 5 lacs.
Infrastructure: There are many amenities available in our department, such as a good internet connection, well-established labs, a library, and classrooms equipped with projectors and other technical infrastructure that are essential for students. The quality of food is also good and tasty.
Faculty: Teachers are really good, with experience in technical subjects. They support not only in studies but also in other co-curricular activities. Our course is relevant and helpful in understanding robotics, automation, and the Internet of Things, which aids in building a bright career.
Other: Ardor annual fest is very good.

A perfect place for tech enthusiasts and aspiring entrepreneurs.
Placements: The placement support provided by our College is really commendable. The institution has a dedicated placement cell that conducts regular training sessions, mock interviews and aptitude tests to prepare students for placements. The strong industry connections of the institutions have resulted in excellent placement opportunities, with reputed companies visiting the campus for recruitment. Our previous batch of B.Tech CSE got 90% placements.
Infrastructure: From the moment I stepped onto the campus, I was impressed by the state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure provided by the Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research. The institution's commitment to providing the latest technology and resources to its students has greatly enriched my learning experience in the field of IoT. There are various labs for a diverse range of domains, including the Network Analysis Lab, the AICTE Idea Lab, the IoT Tinkering Lab, the Amazon Cloud Services Lab, and many more.
Faculty: The faculty at AITR are not just knowledgeable but also passionate about teaching and innovation. They go above and beyond to ensure that the concepts are explained in a comprehensive manner, making even the most complex topics easy to understand. The faculty's approachability and willingness to clarify doubts have been immensely helpful in my academic journey.
Other: AITR has its Entrepreneurship Development Cell, which is continuously organising events to incubate and educate aspiring entrepreneurs.

Placements are getting better year by year and faculty are supporting .
Placements: This year, the placement of students was good; approximately 450 students were placed out of approximately 600. In that the average package was INR 6-7LPA for 40-45 students and INR 4.5-5LPA for 50-70 students and rest were with package of approximately INR 4 LPA. The highest on campus placement is INR 12.5 LPA and average is INR 4LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bajaj Finserv, Accenture, Einfochips, etc. The top roles are for SDE and some managing roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for academics is good. It has labs, classrooms, and a library, but it does not have good Wi-Fi access. Wi-Fi is not given, but all computer labs have good internet connections, and the labs are also good and average, and the library is good. The canteen is medium, and there is no good facility for sports or other co-curricular facilities.
Faculty: Yes, teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the quality was also good. The course curriculum is theory, but there are some practicals as well, and it should be improved for developing industry skills. Semester exams are medium-difficult; recently, the level of questions has increased, and checking is not good.
Other: I have chosen B.Tech. in Computer Science because, in private colleges, it is reputed in Indore. The college always thrives on giving students practical knowledge. They have introduced the Idea Lab, AWS Lab, and E Yantra Lab to give students practical knowledge. It has some fests, such as Ardour, which is a cultural fest and some other  competitions. If you have a low grade point average, you can join this college.
