Q:   Is MCA at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research worth the investment?

A:
{Source: MCA students & alumni}

Is MCA at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research (AITR) Worth the Investment?

Here's a summary of the key points:

* Faculty Support: Teachers are generally supportive and helpful, although some may behave rudely or not cooperate.
* Course Curriculum: The curriculum is somewhat relevant to current industry standards, but some subjects seem outdated. Additional workshops and training programs are organized to prepare students for the IT industry.
* Placements: Placements are average, with companies like TCS, Tasks, and Deloitte visiting the campus. The average package is around 4-5 LPA, while the highest package is up to 8 LPA.
* Facilities: The campus has well-equipped labs, a good library, and amenities like canteen, cafes, and buses. However, open Wi-Fi is not available everywhere.
* Campus Life: The campus life is good, with regular events and activities organized by various clubs.
* Scholarship: Merit-based scholarships are available, with OBC, ST, and SC students receiving a scholarship of approximately INR30,000 annually.

Based on these points, here's our verdict:

While AITR offers some strengths, such as supportive faculty and decent facilities, its weaknesses, including an outdated curriculum and average placement record, might raise concerns. Students who choose this programme would need to put extra effort into learning beyond the syllabus to stay competitive in the job market. Additionally, those interested in pursuing higher education might find that the integrated nature of the Master's programme is beneficial. Overall, whether AITR is worth the investment depends on individual goals and priorities. We recommend researching further and weighing the pros and cons before making a decision.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Q:   What is the expected JEE Main cutoff 2024?

Q:   Is B.E. / B.Tech at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research worth the investment?

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is B.E./B.Tech at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research worth the investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

* Pros:
+ Good infrastructure, including clean classrooms, labs, and a library with a wide range of books.
+ Well-educated and helpful teachers.
+ Average package of INR4-5 lakhs, with the highest package reaching up to INR18 lakhs.
+ Placement rates are generally satisfactory, with around 60-70% of students getting placed.
+ Various campus events and festivals, including the annual ARDOR festival.
* Cons:
+ Limited hostel facilities, forcing students to find alternative accommodation.
+ Internet connectivity issues and jamming devices restricting students' online activity.
+ Curriculum may be considered outdated, focusing more on theoretical aspects rather than practical skills.
+ Strict rules and regulations, giving students limited freedom.
* Additional notes:
+ Scholarship options are available for meritorious students.
+ Internship opportunities are scarce, but companies like Infosys, TCS, and others recruit students.
+ Facilities, including food and sports, are generally good, with medical facilities being highly rated.

Considering these pros and cons, investing in a B.E./B.Tech degree at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research may be worthwhile for those who prioritize academics and are willing to compromise on flexibility. However, individuals seeking more autonomy or modernized curricula may want to explore other options. Ultimately, individual preferences and priorities will play a crucial role in determining whether this college is "worth" the investment.

Overall, I am satisfied with the college because of very good campus and surroundings.
Placements: Around 70% of students got placed. The highest package offered was 24 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Infosys, Amazon, etc. Around 80% of students got internships in Crystal IT Park, like Yash Technologies, and in the automobile sector like Force Motors, Eicher, etc. Many roles were offered in mechanical engineering like Mahindra Bajaj SAE India, etc.
Infrastructure: Every building on campus had Wi-Fi. A systematic library was available. Classrooms were very good and the college had a very hygienic canteen. The college is very good for sports. It had a huge playground for all sports. Many teams played at inter-state tournaments.
Faculty: Teachers were very highly educated, very knowledgeable, and experienced. The college organised industry visits every month for us to gain practical experience. Semester exams were very good in the college, and there were also mid-term assignments before the semester to provide good knowledge of the subject. The passing percentage was 50%.
Other: Overall, the college is good for every course, but I chose mechanical engineering because I have an interest in the automobile sector. Many extracurricular activities were conducted by the college such as indoor games, cultural fest, etc.

I am satisfied and i recommend this college.
Placements: About 65% of the students got their placements in college. The highest package offered is 32 LPA. The lowest package offered is 1.20 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Mahindra, etc. About 50% of the students get placement in our course in TCS, etc. The top roles offered are junior engineer etc.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, our college is one of the best colleges in Indore. We have labs with free Wi-Fi connectivity. The classrooms are spacious. There is a library and a playground; etc available on the campus. We do not have a hostel in our college but the quality of food in the canteen is average. Sports and games are held in the college. A medical room is also available.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good. Our teachers are knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry ready. They cope with their day-to-day problem. The semester exams are moderate. One can pass it easily. The pass percentage is about 95.
Other: I choose this course as I am interested in machines. The best thing about my course is not boring. Many events like fests etc; are held on our campus. According to the fee structure, fewer scholarships are provided by our college.

The college is good for CS students, but it is fine for mechanical and other branches.
Placements: The total percentage of placed students till now in the mechanical department is 25%. The lowest salary package this year is 1.8 LPA. The highest salary package this year is 6 LPA. Statistics will increase as many companies are coming.
Infrastructure: The library contains many books, but there should be more. Sports are fine and many university competitions are held there. The canteen is good. The food is good and affordable. It lacks medical facilities. The Wi-Fi is free, but we get only 35 MB.
Faculty: Teachers are good and they help when we are stuck in difficult situations. The curriculum is now shifting toward more hands-on learning that will benefit industries and companies. Exams are of a moderate level. You have to study with basic notes and will secure good marks in the examination.

Obviously satisfied with this college.
Placements: Very large no. of students are placed from our college. Different packages are given to students. Top recruiting companies like TCS come to our college. Most of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: There is a very good faculty and the department has a lot of knowledge. There are very large no. of students and seniors can help us to study and do different things in annual function, so I would like to suggest to friends to get admission in this college.
Faculty: There are teachers with good knowledge. All the teachers are very good to help students. College makes students industry-ready. There is no difficulty in taking exams of the semester, because the teachers are always with students who want help.
Other: All are good.
