Q:   Is MCA at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research worth the investment?

A:
{Source: MCA students & alumni}

Is MCA at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research (AITR) Worth the Investment?

Here's a summary of the key points:

* Faculty Support: Teachers are generally supportive and helpful, although some may behave rudely or not cooperate.
* Course Curriculum: The curriculum is somewhat relevant to current industry standards, but some subjects seem outdated. Additional workshops and training programs are organized to prepare students for the IT industry.
* Placements: Placements are average, with companies like TCS, Tasks, and Deloitte visiting the campus. The average package is around 4-5 LPA, while the highest package is up to 8 LPA.
* Facilities: The campus has well-equipped labs, a good library, and amenities like canteen, cafes, and buses. However, open Wi-Fi is not available everywhere.
* Campus Life: The campus life is good, with regular events and activities organized by various clubs.
* Scholarship: Merit-based scholarships are available, with OBC, ST, and SC students receiving a scholarship of approximately INR30,000 annually.

Based on these points, here's our verdict:

While AITR offers some strengths, such as supportive faculty and decent facilities, its weaknesses, including an outdated curriculum and average placement record, might raise concerns. Students who choose this programme would need to put extra effort into learning beyond the syllabus to stay competitive in the job market. Additionally, those interested in pursuing higher education might find that the integrated nature of the Master's programme is beneficial. Overall, whether AITR is worth the investment depends on individual goals and priorities. We recommend researching further and weighing the pros and cons before making a decision.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Q:   What is the expected JEE Main cutoff 2024?

A:

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. During the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750. Q:   Is B.E. / B.Tech at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research worth the investment?

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is B.E./B.Tech at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research worth the investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

* Pros:
+ Good infrastructure, including clean classrooms, labs, and a library with a wide range of books.
+ Well-educated and helpful teachers.
+ Average package of INR4-5 lakhs, with the highest package reaching up to INR18 lakhs.
+ Placement rates are generally satisfactory, with around 60-70% of students getting placed.
+ Various campus events and festivals, including the annual ARDOR festival.
* Cons:
+ Limited hostel facilities, forcing students to find alternative accommodation.
+ Internet connectivity issues and jamming devices restricting students' online activity.
+ Curriculum may be considered outdated, focusing more on theoretical aspects rather than practical skills.
+ Strict rules and regulations, giving students limited freedom.
* Additional notes:
+ Scholarship options are available for meritorious students.
+ Internship opportunities are scarce, but companies like Infosys, TCS, and others recruit students.
+ Facilities, including food and sports, are generally good, with medical facilities being highly rated.

However, individuals seeking more autonomy or modernized curricula may want to explore other options. Ultimately, individual preferences and priorities will play a crucial role in determining whether this college is "worth" the investment.

The college has an excellent environment .
Placements: The Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research boasts a placement percentage of around 85%. Students also receive high packages that can reach about 12 LPA, with an average of about 5 LPA. Strong employers in this area include TCS, Capgemini, Amazon, Bajaj, and HCL. The roles offered are software development, data analytics, and consulting.
Infrastructure: Acropolis Institute has a number of amenities, including high-speed Wi-Fi, well-furnished labs, digital classrooms, and a stocked library. The hostels are decent, and hygienic food is served in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities include a dispensary that caters to basic health requirements and sports facilities for some indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: Acropolis does not seem to have a dearth of support since teachers are competent, able, and quite knowledgeable. The curriculum is very well placed with the industry so students can be effective in the work environment. Papers have a little degree of difficulty, and the pass percentage is fair among the hardworking students.
Other: I chose this course because it was very much aligned to the industry and also very practical-oriented. The good things are labs for practice and faculty who make classes fun. Bad things as such: None, but I think if there were more updated resources in terms of technology we work on, industry tie-ups could be increased. The campus is going to have a great life with lots of events, fests, and internships; the crowd will be great.

"Exceptional Academic Environment and Thriving campus life.
Placements: In our college review, approximately 60% - 70% of students are placed in our course. When considering the highest package, it can be in the range of several LPA with an average package around 3-6 LPA. The lowest package offered might be around 2-3 LPA. Top recruiting companies often include Google, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, or Accenture with an emphasis on companies offering higher salaries within our course. Additionally, a minimum of 70% of students get internships from our course.
Infrastructure: As a student of AITR college, there is good Wi-Fi connectivity available throughout the department, including in classrooms, labs, libraries, and common areas. Students can easily access the internet for research needs. Talking about labs, there are 20+ labs in my department, such as computer labs, AI labs, Robotics labs, and more. These labs are designed to provide a comfortable environment conducive to learning and hands-on experimentation. But in my college, there are no hostel facilities. Regarding the quality of food in the mess, the food is of very good quality, offering nutritious and hygienic options. In my college, there are nearby hospitals to provide basic medical care and emergency assistance to both students and staff. In my department, there is a sports and games room where students can participate in various activities and enjoy themselves.
Faculty: In my college, the teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive of students' learning needs. The quality of teachers can greatly impact students' understanding of subject matter and enhance their overall academic experience. In my department, the curriculum focuses on practical skills, industry trends, and hands-on experience to better equip students for future careers. The teachers actively engage students in organizing events aimed at enhancing their industry-relevant skills. Semester exams in my college are at a challenging level, influenced by factors such as course content, teaching methodology, and the institute's academic standards. The pass percentage of students consistently remains above 80% each year.
Other: I am a student of Computer Science and Information Technology at [ AITR ] Indore. I chose this course because of my passion for technology and computer science. I want to learn and develop programming, algorithms, and new technology. Additionally, AITR Indore's reputation for academic excellence and its strong faculty members in the Computer Science department. Some of the best things about my course include the academic curriculum that challenges and provides opportunities for research and innovation and access to resources. The course also offers opportunities for internships, industrial exposure, and placements to build a successful career in the tech industry. My course offers many benefits, but there are always areas for improvement. I wish there were more practical, hands-on projects in the curriculum to complement theoretical learning. The campus life of AITR is vibrant and dynamic with a variety of events, festivals, and activities happening throughout the year. The campus is surrounded by lush greenery and provides a conducive environment for studying and relaxation. Connectivity is excellent with reliable transportation options and high-speed internet access available on campus.

Review of Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research.
Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in the last year. The placement program starts. This year, the highest salary package offered is 35 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Almost 50% of students got internships from this course. Cyber security is the main domain of our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good. The campus is very small. Our college provides all facilities like a lab with Wi-Fi, a very good library, and simple classrooms. The food quality is not very good, but edible. Medical facilities are good. The sports complex is in the process of building.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are good. They have a lot of experience. They know how to deliver knowledge to students. The quality of some teachers is better than YouTube teachers. If teachers mentor students, it gets easy to get placements. This course is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The level of difficulty is moderate. The pass percentage is 95%.
Other: I get this course in a counselling on the basis of my JEE Main percentile There many things that should be change or get better like timing, way of teaching of some teachers, increase the lab lecture .

Decent infrastructure and facilities, first year is a little bit strict. Canteen food is nice.
Placements: TCS, Infosys and many more companies are coming for placements but in future it will definitely improve for sure. You have to work on your own to develop skills in tech or any non tech field but college provides less chances and you need to convert it into the opportunities for internships and for that you need to be aware about that.
Infrastructure: No hostel till now. Decent infrastructure is there. Labs are nice but first year civil lab is very disappointing. Classrooms are okay but you need to adjust. Sports facilities are only for 2nd and 3rd year students who are very talented . No sports events for everyone in B.Tech but for BBA and BCA and MCA it will definitely happen.
Faculty: Some nice faculty members are also there but you have to connect with them. It's up to you if you will stand in front i. e. active students. So definitely it will work for you if you are well known to the teachers, for support or opportunities in future academics. Some teachers are very nice.
Other: Cultural Events happen once a year .

Acropolis gives us an agile atmosphere.
Placements: Our course is new. In the CSE department, almost 95% of students got placed. The highest salary package was 45 LPA, the lowest was 4.5 LPA, and the average was 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Bajaj, and Persistent. Around 20% of students got internships. Top roles offered in our course are data analyst, data scientist, and developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good. There are different types of labs, including Alexa Lab, that will not only give us technical knowledge but also practical knowledge. There is a well-designed library with a lot of useful study materials.
Faculty: All professors are well-qualified, and the quality of teaching is excellent. They all have completed or are pursuing a Ph.D. in their defined subjects. They have years of experience. The course curriculum is relevant, and as we go through many practicals, it makes us industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I've been interested in machine learning since the 11th grade and want to pursue it further. The best thing about our course is that we can learn both computer science and information technology.
