B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2019

It has a good infrastructure, but I am dissatisfied with placements.
Placements: In our branch, we didn't get any chance of placements because the college invites only software companies. For 2017-2018 batch students got chance in placements. The salary offered ranges between Rs. 10,000-15,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Our college is located in a large area outside the town. The college has a separate block for each branch. The college has a huge library with almost 3,00,000 books. There are a canteen, playground and well-equipped labs. The college provides hostel facility for both boys and girls.
Faculty: Only a few teachers teach well, but there is a lack of knowledge in other teachers who just completed their graduation. The course curriculum is good, but industrial visits are not offered by the college. They are not experienced in teaching. It gets bad results of students due to this teaching.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am passionate about this course. I had full knowledge of my course. I wish the college should improve the practical knowledge of the students by conducting technical seminars. The college conducts annual day and branch fests every year.

Infrastructure: The college has excellent digital classrooms, superb labs and all equipment are good. 20,000 volumes are available in the library. 30MB/sec Wi-Fi, basketball ball court and cricket ground are very neatly maintained. Chess boards and table tennis t., in my college, they provide all Indore games.
Faculty: My mechanical engineering faculty completed M.Tech and has more than 7 years of experience. The mechanical HOD completed PhD and has 5 years of experience. The lab technicians are very highly experienced persons teaches in our all labs. My faculty fully support new things. I love my faculty.

The college is with excellent infrastructure but not with excellent faculty.
Placements: The placements are not available for the mechanical engineering students if they want hardware jobs. There are some placements for software, BPO, marketing, etc. As I am a mechanical engineer, I didn’t have interest in doing software jobs.
Infrastructure: The college is well built, and there is no Wi-Fi. The labs are good, the classrooms which can fit for 80 students. The central library and an individual library are also available. There is a ground for cricket and a big canteen also available. They provide with the separate hostels for girls and boys. No issue with the college.
Faculty: There is some faculty, who are qualified and helpful for the students. There is some faculty who are recently passed out students and came as faculty with no subject knowledge, those faculty members were not eligible for senior students and for the core subjects.
Other: Events will be conducted in this college, the students are in high numbers, there is no Wi-Fi facility. The surroundings of the campus are good with nature. There will be some extracurricular activities where the students can participate in their wish.

Average infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: Placements are good but only a few companies visit for recruitment and they provide opportunities to the students who study well.
The placements are limited so only class toppers will get the job.
Companies like Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit our college. More than 30 students are selected from our branch itself.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not so bad. The labs have all the required machines for mechanical student.s
All the equipment are in working condition. The classrooms are very bad. The seating arrangements and fans are not proper.
I would rate the infrastructure 5 out of 10.
Faculty: The faculty is not that excellent but they teach us in a way that we understand the things.
They follow the JNTUH curriculum. It is full-fledged and they will cover the maximum syllabus.
The teaching is very good but the mechanical faculty is better when compared to other branches.
Other: The college is located in Paloncha in Bhadradri Kothagudem district. It is somewhat far from the road but you can use the auto. Transportation facilities are good in that area. I suggest that if you want to study in this area it is good to select this college.
