B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2017
Offered by Mother Teresa Institute of Science and Technology
4.2

Well and popular college with good facilities.
Placements: There are placements to our seniors and to us, about 70% of students are placed, the highest salary offered is 69000 and the lowest salary offered is 15000 and at an average of 25000, the companies visited to our college techmahindra, jain, icici, private companies, roles offered junior assistant and senior manager, there is internship to our college, the highest stipend offered to the students is 15000 and the lowest stipend is 5000 at an average of 10000, yes there is a placement cell in our college, this is more efficient and useful in getting big opportunities.
Infrastructure: There is a good infrastructure such as Wi-fi, labs with well-equipped things, classrooms are furnished and cc cameras are installed in every classrooms, there is a vast library with number of books and there is medical assistance in our college and every annual sports and games are conducted, quality of labs is good in our college and classrooms are under camera survelliance and good ventilated, food available in canteen is good and hostel rooms are also well conditioned, no we have not faced any
infrastructure related problems.
Faculty: Teachers are full helpful, less qualified and knowledgeable, teaching is not bad, teaching methods are classroom board and projector classes and computer labs, we have visited so many industries, we have visited near by colleges and industries of cement factories, the course curriculum is less useful to us.
Other: In our college events are such as festival events pongal, holi and swacch - bharath and college day, fest are also conducted, campus crowd is not much a average campus crowd is seen here, surroundings are clean and good, many students got scholarships in our college, college day, sports day are also conducted every year in our college.

The most important review about the college.
Placements: There are no placements, only torture. Even the faculty don't know how to talk to the students, they will treat you like a below average student, and they don't know English. If you ask them any question in English, they will be surprised and give absent as gift because it hurts their ego because they don't know English.
Infrastructure: The buildings are a little bit good but not in facilities. The hostels are very bad. Even the government hostels are way better than this college's hostels and the worst infrastructure of hostels. For +2 student, it is great, but not every time.
Faculty: The faculty should learn how to teach, not how to punish like blocking their attendance and failing them in labs, etc. A minimum faculty have a good degree like M.Tech, but they studied in the same college, and now, teaching the students like a faculty.
Other: No fests because it is expensive, so the college didn't want to do that, they want only money.

Less satisfied college with the poor management system and average qualified faculty.
Placements: My seniors got placements, about more than 60% students are placed. The lowest salary is 15k and highest salary is 45k. The major companies from Hyderabad have visited for the placements like engineering companies ( I have not remembered about the companies who visited our college). Junior engineer roles are offered to the students. 67% students got the internship, but there is no stipend provided to the students.
Infrastructure: There are facilities such as Wi-Fi for each block, the number of classrooms for various subjects and lectures. The library is fully enabled with the books. There are no medical facilities. We have good sports kits, and vast playground is widely available on our campus. There are less equipped labs with qualified and limited assets. The classrooms are more comfortable for all course students with good assets. The canteen is the best place to get good quality of food, tiffins, and regular essentials. The hostel rooms are not much good. We have faced some issues regarding lab equipment and sports equipment.
Faculty: The faculty is good to us with more friendly manners. They were much helpful in project designs, but qualifications matters and they are less knowledgeable. They use projectors, computers, and digital library for teaching. The ratio of student to faculty is 50:1 and rarely we have industrial exposure. The course curriculum is useful to us.
Other: This college is good for any standard of people, and village peoples easily have transport facility and have good parking. There is a good transport facility, but poor management system. It is one of the better colleges for all students. The courses here offered are vary from other colleges such as agriculture, mining, and teacher training course.

Good nature in our college, no ragging and harassment, it was strictly prohibited in our college.
Placements: It was about 60% of students were placed.
The highest salary offered was 60 thousand and the lowest was 5 thousand.
Dhanush engineering services Hyderabad recruited us.
Mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering highest package was about 50 thousand per month and the lowest was seven thousand.
About 50 percent of members got internship in dhanush engineering services ameerpet.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi but students cannot use that Wi-Fi was only for faculty and labs was good, classrooms electrical appliances was also present in the classes such as tube lights, fans etc., library facility was also been for us.
Faculty was good and friendly. The food in the hostel was average no medical facilities, sports and games were there.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful for about 70 percent and another 30 percent was based upon our knowledge, they have been qualified M.Tech, the teaching quality was not bad.
Course curriculum is relevant, this makes the students ready for the industry.
Other: I chose this course because in future mechanical engineering was only the probable subject going to deal with all the top most companies.
Fests are there for us, no campus crowd, no connectivity, no campus surroundings, scholarship was there, games and sports were there.

Our college is very good for placements, and the last outgoing batch got good jobs and placements.
Placements: Placements are very good here. Companies that visit our college are Tata, Ashok Leyland and Wipro for software developers and for mining the open cost companies like Singareni, etc. The college conducted good communication development, technical and practical development for the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good, and inside and outside of the buildings are very good. The structure inside the college is beautiful for every department, and each block is divided for mechanical, civil, mining, electrics and electronics. Classrooms are very good, and e-classes are also available here for easy understandings.
Faculty: Lecturers are qualified, and our mechanical department HOD is a PhD holder. Our lecturers have completed their M.Tech, and they have good knowledge. Teaching methods used are good with good English. For 10 students, there is a faculty member. We went Tata and Ashok Leyland for industrial visit. Lecturers teach according to the curriculum and books.
Other: For every department, farewell parties are conducted for every year students. Academics and competitions are good, and extracurricular activities are very good at our college.
