B.Tech. in Mining Engineering - Batch of 2017
Offered by Adam's Engineering College

If you want to do B.Tech, please don't join our college.
Placements: In my college, we are the first graduating batch of mining engineering. While joining, they told that there are very good placements after the completion of course, but truly, we have not heard a word of placements in the final year. Some of the companies came to recruit other branch students. For mining, there are no placements in any college in Telangana.
Infrastructure: In my college, no Wi-Fi is available. Labs are not part good, they are like dens. The classrooms are not good. The library is the best among these. It contains nearly 10,000 books and a good environment in the library. In our college, every year, they will conduct blood donation camps. Sports and games are conducted for namesake.
Faculty: In our mining department, there were no faculty in the beginning. After the 3rd year, 3 faculty members joined as assistant professors. They are not qualified for this post because they are also B.Tech graduates. I could get nothing from them. In our college, the student to teacher ratio is 60:1.

Adam's, the state's first college in engineering.
Placements: I got placed in a small company but don't expect much more job opportunities from the college. Apart from mining, other branches who completed the course have got better opportunities in good companies like L&T, Infosys, Wipro and Koya Building Pvt. Ltd.
Infrastructure: It has a good infrastructure which is a world-class, university level infrastructure. There is a good library and good hostel buildings for both boys and girls. There are separate blocks for students to prevent ragging. There are well-equipped labs and drawing halls with high-class machinery and equipment.
Faculty: Very professional faculty members are there with high qualification and experience. The head of the departments are at least PhD-qualified and assistant professors are with a masters degree in the respective branches. It is a JNTUH-affiliated college with their course curriculum available.

I am in 12th with MPC but I have not applied for EAMCET. Does this college have management/NRI quota?
