Q:   How effective is the placement cell for LL.B. courses at Agra College?

A:
{Source: LL.B. students & alumni}

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for LL.B. Courses at Agra College

* Limited Support: According to students' reviews, the college does not provide direct placement assistance, unlike private colleges. Students need to find their own internships or jobs, relying on their personal connections and capabilities.

* No Internship Opportunities: As stated by the student, "We don't have any internship opportunity. It's up to you and your capability or sources."

* Minimal Guidance: No mention of faculty providing guidance or support in finding internships or jobs.

Overall, the placement cell appears to be ineffective in supporting LL.B. students in securing internships or employment opportunities.

Q:   Is it worth pursuing B.Com at Agra College?

A:
{Source: B.Com students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from current students and alumni, here's a summary of what to expect:

Pros:

* Good faculty with a strong educational background
* Knowledgeable and cooperative teachers who help students clarify their doubts
* Relevant course curriculum with a focus on industry requirements
* Opportunities for extracurricular activities like NCC, NSS, and events
* Reasonable fee structure with availability of need-based scholarships

Cons:

* Limited placement offers (only 10-15% of students get placed)
* No internship opportunities provided by the college
* No Wi-Fi or lab facilities available
* Infrastructure is outdated and requires improvement (classrooms, library, canteen, etc.)
* Some teachers lack enthusiasm and dedication towards teaching
* Limited sports facilities and no gymnasium

Placement Statistics:

* Around 30-40% of students get placed in good reputed companies like Jio, Airtel, Amazon, and Flipkart
* Salary package ranges from INR4 LPA to INR5 LPA
* Top roles are offered in commerce and banking accounting

Overall Assessment:

Pursuing B.Com at Agra College might be suitable for students who prioritize a solid educational foundation over extra-curricular activities and career advancement opportunities. While the faculty is generally knowledgeable, the college lacks modern amenities and placement assistance. Students must be prepared to seek out additional resources and opportunities independently. With careful expectations, a BCom degree from Agra College could still lead to a successful career in the long run.

Q:   Is LL.B. at Agra College a good choice?

A:
{Source: LL.B. students & alumni}

Based on the student reviews and experiences, here's what you can expect:

Pros:

* Highly qualified and experienced teaching faculty
* Good infrastructure, including a separate wing for the Law department with a library and moot court
* Friendly and supportive teachers who help students prepare for the real-world
* Opportunities to participate in events, cultural programs, and sports at the district and state levels
* Access to a civil court for practical learning
* A huge campus with a peaceful environment

Cons:

* No direct placements or internships provided by the college for LL.B. students
* Limited career guidance and support from faculty members
* Exams are annual, which may put pressure on students
* Old buildings and lack of modern amenities, including Wi-Fi connectivity

Career prospects:
While the college doesn't provide direct placements, students can opt for internships in local lawyers' offices or law firms. Some students have reported getting placed in legal roles in companies, although the salaries vary. Career options include working as a legal advisor, lawyer, or judge.

Conclusion:
LL.B. at Agra College can be a good choice for students looking for a comprehensive education in law. While the college faces limitations in terms of placements and infrastructure, it offers a strong academic foundation, experienced faculty, and opportunities for practical learning. However, students must be prepared to seek internships and job opportunities independently, and be flexible about accepting different career paths.

The worst experience of my life.
Placements: I have done the biggest mistake by taking admission in that college (Agra College), as there was no placement opportunities. Not even a single company came when I was in college. Not a single student got an internship in my course. The course and the college both were not making the students industry ready.
Infrastructure: The library was fine, easily accessible to all students, but there were not enough course books available. The canteen was okay, and the good part of that college was its NCC. The college infrastructure was literally very bad; not a single classroom's furniture was fine.
Faculty: Teachers did not take the classes, and not even a single teacher wanted to teach. Although teachers were well-qualified, they still didn't want to teach. The course curriculum was not relevant because it doesn't make the students industry ready. When I was in college, there was no semester exam, only year exams were held, and they were based on previous year exams. So, if a student studied only previous years' exams, he or she could gain passing marks easily.

Please come and self review the college
Placements: More than 50% student gets placed. Highest package is 8 lacs and lowest package is 3 lacks per annum. More than 70% students get internship during course. I get sufficient time to continue my government job preparation. There are many companies who recruit many students.
Infrastructure: Provide wifi for all campus classrooms are neat and clean and best thing that every type of book is available in library. Hostel is well clean. Many types of food available in canteen and canteen staff is so good and having good nature. Many games are held in college campus.
Faculty: All teachers are well qualified and help everyone. Semester exams are not difficult. During complete course they tell us about all type of information which is helpful for us and then show a way that how to get job in private sector and improve skills.
Other: Because to continue my preparation for government job books

I had a great experience and enjoyed college life.
Placements: Around 20% to 30% of students who completed their bachelor’s degree at this college were placed. However, the placement facilities need significant improvement to attract more students. I am not sure about the highest salary package offered by the college, as I did not receive any placement. Also, top companies do not visit for campus recruitment drives. Therefore, the college needs to improve its placement facilities.
Infrastructure: This college is quite old in Agra. When it comes to infrastructure, the college provides basic necessary facilities required for every institution, such as neat and clean classrooms, furniture, labs, and a library. However, the infrastructure needs further improvement as it is quite old, even though it is well-known in Agra.
Faculty: If I talk about the faculty members, they are well-educated and knowledgeable. They are very supportive and helpful. Our course syllabus is relevant, and it prepares me for my job. Semester exams are not difficult because they are all related to my course.

My life first College Experience.
Placements: The course is good but placement chances are too low compared to other colleges, I haven't got any internship yet but the highest Package offered to B.Sc. Graduates can vary significantly depending on the field. For example, graduates in fields like computer science, biotechnology, or data Science may receive higher offers compared to those in traditional sciences like Physics or Chemistry. In competitive industries or prestigious companies, the highest packages could range from 7 LPA to 1 CR annually. The lowest Package is at Entry-level positions or roles in certain industries that may offer lower salaries initially. The lowest package could range from a few thousand to a few Lacs annually, depending on factors such as the industry, location, and demand for skills.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi: Access to campus-wide Wi-Fi for research and coursework. Labs: Well-equipped Science laboratories for practical experiments and research in various disciplines like Biology Chemistry Physics etc. Classrooms: Spacious and well-furnished classrooms for lectures and discussions. Library: A well-stocked library with a vast collection of books, journals, and online resources relevant to B.Sc. Subjects. Computer Facilities: Computer labs with necessary software for data analysis and simulations. Sports Facilities: Facilities for extracurricular activities including sports. Cafeteria: On-campus dining options for students and faculty. Student Support Services: Counseling services, academic advising, and other support services to assist students in their academic journey.
Faculty: The difficulty level of semester exams and the pass percentage can vary depending on factors such as the academic rigour of the programme, individual student preparation, and the grading criteria set by the college or university passing percentage get a 3-4 CGPA.

My college experience was average.
Placements: Around 30% of students who completed the Bachelor of Commerce course were placed by the college. The highest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. No top recruiting companies visit for hiring, and no students have received internships from any course at this college. College needs significant improvement in its placement facilities.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure required at my college are neither good nor bad. The college lacks Wi-Fi, and the labs only provide basic resources. The quality of the hostel is not good, and the food available in the mess is also poor.
Faculty: When I talk about the teaching facilities in my college, they are good. The college has a well-qualified and experienced teaching staff who are knowledgeable. The subjects are related to my career and field of study, and none of the semester exams were difficult for me. I scored 80% on all subjects.
