Review of AISSMS, COE, Pune.

Placements: Almost, no placement is provided for the civil engineering students. If you have some knowledge of programming and aptitude, then an IT company will pick you but not for a good package. Approximately, 87 IT companies conducted their placement programmes in the year 2017 and recruited 202 students from all the branches. 7 students got placed in the civil branch. The salary offered in the placements was not very good. On a rough outline, the salary offered is around Rs. 18,000 per month. The colle...

Absolutely satisfied -good faculty. Good sports. Good placements. Located at the heart of the city.

Placements: The placements are good. TCS gives top packages of Rs. 4 lakhs. The average package offered is between Rs. 3 lakhs and Rs. 3.5 lakhs. Godrej also came and gave good packages. It will also give packages between Rs. 3 lakhs to Rs. 4 lakhs. Amazon also came and selected the mechanical students and gave good packages to them.

The college has a really good infrastructure in the prime location of Pune.

Placements: There are good placements with nice packages in the college. All the college staff is also good. In my class, 10 students got placed. The highest salary was Rs. 4.5 lakhs per annum while the lowest was Rs. 1.8 Lakhs. The Godrej and Boyce, Tech Mahindra, TCS and many companies visited the college campus. At least, 20 to 30 % of the students got an internship in the college placements.

A review of All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society's College of Engineering.

Placements: Around 25 students from 70 got placed. The highest package offered was around Rs. 3.2 lakhs and the lowest offer was Rs. 1.8 lakhs. Bitwise, TCS, Cybage, Tech Mahindra, etc., are the companies that visited the college. Mostly trainee, junior engineer roles were offered. No one did the internship as of now. The college focuses on the attendance and all such things.

Overall, it is satisfactory. A good place to hang out and good canteen.

Placements: There is not much to say about placements because due to market crash there are no core-field companies ( civil department) visited the college. The computer branch students have some software scope. The TPO cell is too dumb. No scope for placement skills. All branches have job crash. Only mass recruitment takes place by TCS, Wipro, Amazon, etc.

The AISSMS College Of Engineering.

Placements: In the college, there have been 60 percent placements for computers, electronics and IT students from companies like Amazon and TCS. The civil engineering students were not getting many jobs, but after the significant contribution of our new HOD that environment has changed and there has been a significant increase in the companies visiting the campus. Our civil engineering branch has been NAC certified and has collaborated with IE (Institute of Engineering) for better and more placements. On an...

Average placements, good faculty available with large exposure to sports activities.

Placements: Basically, the placements opportunities in our college are not too high and not too low, it's a decent number. Around 30-40 % of the students get placed from every class, every year. Basically, all the CS, IT companies visit our college with a decent package and the number of core companies is very less.

AISSMS COE takes your one year to know the full form

Placements: Last year, there had been about 300 placements in our college which is actually a big number considering the present situation. The trust is really keeping and doing a good job. About 35 mechanical sandwich students were placed last year from a strength of 60.

Almost satisfied but the college is not up to the level when it comes to sports

Placements: Placement- The college has dedicated training and placement cell. The companies which visited are IBM, Siemens, Godrej, Syntal, Bridgestone, Cipla, etc. The minim packages start from 3 lakhs to up to 16 lakhs this year. Internship: The stipend offered is 10000 per month during the tenure of 24 months. The stipend is timely paid to students.the seniors are also doing research in coordination with companies which give us the experience of technological development. ...

Average college in terms of all conditions.

Placements: 70-80% students got placed. Placements are in companies like Indian Army, Indian Navy, Laxmi Consultancies and other private companies. The starting salary usually ranges from 15-20,000 per month on a growth basis. A training and placement department is there to look after placements.

Cleanliness, good faculty, good placements, attractive infrastructure and facilities are here.

Placements: In this college, they provide good placements. Different companies visit our college like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Persistent, Amazon, Syntel etc. Other companies also visit for those students who have lower aggregate than 60 percent. Every year, some needed changes are made by the training and placement coordinator. Placements for my batch and senior batch were almost the same. Nearly 50% students were placed every year. The highest salary was 4.2 LPA and the lowest was 2.2 LPA. Students got diff...

Had a great experience and enjoyed academics. Well supported by the college.

Placements: Placements for the year 2017 were very good. Many companies visited and many students were placed. Almost 50-60% students were placed with an average salary of around Rs. 3 lakhs per annum. Companies such as Prodair Air Products, Godrej, Eaton, etc. visited the campus and students were placed as a graduate engineering trainee. There is not much scope for internships due to the academic schedule.

Absolutely good. Friendly staff. The campus is good.

Placements: The placement process is good. Many companies came for computer and IT branch. They provided a very good opportunity to do the sandwich course and internship. I think the placement cell can invite more companies for core branches like mechanical and production. Otherwise, everything about the placement cell is good. Many students got placed in 2017 batch. When you visit the college, there is a board which shows the detailed information about the students placed in 2017.

AISSMSCOE from the students' perspective.

Placements: The college does have good placements but for mechanical engineers, it doesn't provide jobs in the core industry. Multiple placement companies visited like JCB, Neilsoft, Faurecia Interior Pvt Ltd., Air products Pvt Ltd, Praj Industries etc. Even though the overall placement number is so much, but the inside story isn't that great.

A very good college with a lot of potential to grow with the right guidance to all students.

Placements: The placement of this college average compared to other engineering colleges in Pune. The placement percentage is above average and the average salary is around 3 LPA. Most of the companies that are present for recruitment are IT-based industries. But there were placements from core industries like Volkswagen, Eaton etc. There are also NGOs like TeachforIndia that participate in the placements of this college.

Good infrastructure, good faculty, good library, high college fee.

Placements: The college placement is good. Many MNC companies recruit students from this college. A training and placement centre is available in the college and it takes a continuous follow-up with companies for the recruitment process. L&T, TCS, Thermax, Atlas, Accenture, Uttam Galva, Bajaj Electrical and Kone are some examples of companies who recruit students from this course.

Hogwarts of Pune, awesome infrastructure, substandard placements and faculty who could do better.

Placements: The college provides good placements for the branches of computer, electrical, electronics, chemical and mechanical. The scope for placements in the field of civil is very less as no civil firms come for recruitment. However, the training and placement cell is working for the betterment of the same and is we can expect some progress in the coming future.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the placements and package.

Placements: The placement rate is 10-20% for my branch and most of them are placed in IT or marketing company. The highest salary offered by any company is not more than 2.5 lacs. Production sandwich branch has the 1-year plant training and this training does not matter a lot during the placement.

Placements: There are 60 % placements. Good companies approach our campus and select the maximum number of students. Companies such as Infosys, Accenture, Amazon, Wipro and many others visited. There is an exposure to companies as well as a pool campus drive for other students in our college where all the college participants are there.
