I am satisfied with placements, infrastructure, and teachers, but not satisfied with the hostel.
Placements: Top recruiting companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc., visit our campus. Almost 90% of students are placed. Internships are good. Many students are working at top companies currently.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and labs are excellent. The hostel is below average. The food is good. Wi-Fi is available 24X7. Food is available at the specified time, but the quality is low. The college gives high preference for sports and games, even at international levels.
Faculty: Exams are done frequently for every department of students. There are many unit tests and a midterm exam before the end-of-semester exams. Our teachers are very supportive. They train well for the exams. The evaluation is also fair.

It is an excellent college.
Placements: All the students of EC and CSE branches got placed. The highest salary package offered is 42 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA. Almost 50% of students got internships from our college in Amazon, Flipkart, Volvo, and Bosch.
Infrastructure: Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms and hostel are very good. The library is the best place to study in our college. All books are available in the library. We can play many games peacefully in our college. Medical facilities are good.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly trained and dignified. Their teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant and makes us efficient to perform well in the industry. Semester exams are tough. Students need to work hard for exams. The pass percentage is 75%.
Other: Cultural events, flash mobs, etc., are conducted in our college.

AMRITA VISHWA VIDYAPEETHAM, AMRITAPURI (B.Teach ECE).
Placements: 80% students are placed so far in ECE. Caterpillar, Schindler, Synopsys, Cadence, Alpha weave Semi are few recruiting companies. DFT, IOT and Automation and few more hardware roles are offered. The highest package was 16 LPA and the lowest was 4.25 LP. 60% of our batch got internships in few companies.
Infrastructure: In our course and department, the labs and library are good, but classrooms are not that good especially benches, sitting and projector is there. Wi-Fi is provided for all laptops, all around the campus and hostel with around 10 mbps. Our hostel is decent like every room has 4 beds and four common rooms in the floor. We have one balcony for each room.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Everyone is well qualified with atleast have done M.Tech. Few of them are doing Ph.D. Teaching quality is decent. This course is good for students in terms of future possibilities and especially in VLSI industry, they teach us few subjects. Difficulty level of MID exams and END exams are decent and the pass percentage is around 35%.

Our college has good infrastructure and provides good facilities.
Placements: About 85% of students are placed, and the rest opt for higher studies. The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA by Swiggy, the lowest is 3.36 LPA by TCS, and the average is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Amazon, Cisco, Arista, Oracle, Qualcomm, Swiggy, Flipkart, Mathworks, AppviewX, New Street Technologies, Robert Bosch, etc. More than 75% of students got internships and converted into full-time employees later. Roles offered are developer, senior analyst, software development engineer, and analyst. Very few students will get core jobs. If you want to get a software job, then you have to work hard and prepare in your free time in relation to those subjects.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. We have labs like circuit labs, coding training labs, and humanitarian labs. There are projectors in classrooms. There is a good library and Wi-Fi. The food at our hostel is always a problem. It didn't taste good, as they used coconut oil and only vegetables were provided. You have to adjust to this. Otherwise, you have to eat mostly at outside restaurants. In the canteen, the food is good. Medical facilities are also good, as they won't charge any money. They charge money only for tablets. We have badminton and table tennis courts. We can also play cricket.
Faculty: Most faculty members have completed their Ph.D. They are knowledgeable and well-qualified. Teaching is good. The course curriculum is mostly related to electronics. Semester exams are a little tough. You will have more questions and less time. If you prepare well, you can easily get a very good GPA. The pass percentage is always higher than 95%. We can work on projects related to robotics in our humanitarian labs, and we can also do projects related to other fields with our respective faculty members.
Other: I have chosen ECE because I didn't get CSE in counseling. Fests, events, and extracurricular activities are conducted twice every semester.

My experience in Amrita School of Engineering.
Placements: The placement statistics for 2024 are very good, with an overall placement rate of 96%. The average salary package was 12.4 LPA, with the highest salary package for the CS department being 51 LPA offered by Microsoft and the highest salary package for the EC department being 41 LPA offered by Intuit. Some of the prominent placement companies were Microsoft, Palo Alto, Bosch, Cisco, Atlassian, and TCS.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure is excellent. The library is well-equipped, and in addition to the academic labs, there are many research labs. The sports facilities are adequate, and Wi-Fi service is available. The classrooms are all well-equipped, and the hostel rooms and bathrooms are clean. The food is clean, but the only drawback is the lack of non-vegetarian food in the hostel mess. The cafeterias are well-stocked.
Faculty: All of the teachers were well-trained and qualified, and the student-to-faculty ratio was very good. Each section had at least two mentors or advisors, which made it easy to get help when needed. For a good research project or to publish a paper, we need to find it easy to find good mentors and faculty members.
Other: The primary tech fest at Amrita School of Engineering is Vidyut, which is held in April-May of every year. It is one of South India's largest tech fests. Some things that could be improved are to remove the mandatory attendance policies and extend the hostel curfew time.
