Good lab facilities, many faculty members are excellent in their respective domains, good diversity of students, green and serene campus with awesome weather 24x7. Clean campus, umpteen opportunities for extra-curricular activities. Bad: more-than-necessary rules and regulations, remote from main city.
One of the best places to pursue your engineering degree. Best staff (at least for B.tech in Computer Science and Engineering). Infrastructure facilities are very good. The location of the college is not too far from city. The best part is students have freedom with a set of limited rules upon them, but that doesn't natter since you have plenty of stuff going around you every time.
The Coimbatore campus is the best amongst all 3 campuses of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The campus is lush green and picturesque. There are separate hostel blocks and mess for boys and girls. The college has strict rules about students leaving campus - it requires a fax or letter from parents or local guardian's before a student is allowed out of campus. This can be tiresome as it takes a lot of time getting approvals before you can leave the campus. Another negative of the college is that only ...
Academics is above average, placements are decent, though because of batch strength placements will be exactly 100% but approximately equals to 90%. Infrastructure was really amazing with good academic blocks. Mess food was horrible. Teaching staff members are above average like any other engineering colleges. We have a lot of college fests, different festivals for different engineering departments. Return on investment- depends on the individual. We don’t have much trips i.e. tours to enjoy our...
A college amidst the lush green hills in Coimbatore, it is a wonderful place to experience the 4 years of engineering life. Excellent faculty and rigorous curriculum. On the cons side, there is a touch in almost every aspect it. If you can overcome that then Amrita is a great place to be.
It is school of engineering, so if you are entering thinking that it's college then you are doing a mistake, because focus is only on studies and rules. Once you get in college then it's only studies. Placements is fine, not sure if you'll get in your dream company, but you'll be placed in done it the other company. So my advice, if you want to do just studies and books, then it's good place but if you want to do studies and overall development and good college life then you have chosen a better...
I have joined it all by hearing it from Professors about the college. I heard about the education and the placements. Good to get graduated from this kind of University. When I have joined and started my education I felt very good and other facilities including Library, Labs, Hostel and food. It was just average and not of great level. They would have taken care of those well. But not to the expectations. Yeah overall i can say it was really nice journey to get my graduation from this Universit...
It's a very good college with outstanding facilities. It does have a lot of placements too. I did my Engineering at Ettimadai campus, Coimbatore. The syllabus is quiet tough compared to other colleges. But it's worthy. We were trained to take decision on risk and pressure.
It’s a deemed university. NAAC has given A grade to this college. It has 3 branches Kerala, Coimbatore, Bangalore. It has 100 percent placements. We get here value based education. I would recommend this college to everyone. We all got placed in 3 to 4 companies, we selected one of them.
Coimbatore is preferred. It has good atmosphere and placements are 90+%.has good faculties. Most of them graduated from IIT. It has a good destination for girls and also it is a Hindu dominant college. Hostel life is little strict in Coimbatore but it is good in Bangalore. Overall I will suggest to join in Coimbatore or Kollam as they are better than Bangalore branch.
Computer science engineering is the leading branch. 100% placements. Faculty and labs are good. It is disciplined if compared to other colleges. Examination pattern is little bit tough. Infrastructure is good. Food quality is average. Year by year college management is taking measures for well-being of the students.
The good- great location, weather, beautiful campus, decent gym, nice hostel, clean and hygienic toilets, good South Indian food in mess and overall a very calm and composed atmosphere. The bad - food is weekly repeated and vegetarian, campus is miles away from city, 50% of the professors don't know proper English or lack communication skills, co-curricular activities are not encouraged, strict about anything and everything, the atmosphere can get as dull as the climate as years pass, rock and h...
Best college to get placements. Students have the chance to attend placements drives for more than 80 companies. Only college in India (Apart from IIT) where students got placed in Microsoft. If you are in the mood of enjoying your student life, I would recommend the students to not to join this college. The rules and regulations are very strict. Its worth the money that you pay. But don’t expect other extracurricular activities in this college.
Faculty is nice and supportive. Rules are silly and the atmosphere is very strict. Positive point for mechanical students is the HOD. Library facility is nice and labs are good. Placements are very good, CIR faculty will provide their help to crack aptitude verbal and reasoning tests.
It’s a great college with great campus. With natural, greenly environment. Faculty members are also very supportive and well experienced. Food in the mess is good and hostel is also very good. For placement many big companies come to campus, almost 80-90% students get the confirmed job. Since it is a well-known engineering college in India as well as run by a well-known trust so you are able to do whatever you want with learning. It also develops your overall personality.
I persued my Engineering in Amrita School of Engineering Kollam. It has amazing facilities for Research for Computer science students. Dedicated cyber security lab for those interested. The faculty is skilled and know the subject very well. It provides a wholesome value based education in a calm and serene environment.
Placements: 1)Almost 90 percentage students were placed. 2) the highest offered is 50 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. 3) Attlasian, microsoft, Amazon. 4) almost 60 percentage from the placed students are offered with an internship and it starts from January. 5) software developed, devops roles.
Placements: My course contains about 70 students in total, and we come under the mechanical department with core subjects. The highest package in our college is 64 LPA, which is good when it comes to placement. Our course is really trending with the current improvements in technology and AI.
Placements: Approximately 80% of our senior classmates in our programme secured job placements. Another 20% would likely have also been placed if not for the lockdown. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, represented by Amazon, while the lowest is 4 LPA. On average, students receive a salary package of 6 LPA. Our college attracts top companies such as Zoho, EY and Federal Bank for recruitment purpose.
