The placements are good. The campus is just good but the food is very bad.

Placements: Not many students are placed. The highest package was 16 Lacs and the lowest was 6 Lacs. The recruiting companies were good, and the companies are coming for ARM and VLSR. The percent of student got internship is very less and not much roles are offered in our course.

The college provides a plethora of opportunities

Placements: Top companies like Google and Microsoft are coming to recruit students. 60% of students get placements and the top roles offered are that of engineers, trainers, etc. The highest packege is 20lpa and the lowest LPA is 5lpa. Everyone gets at least one offer and many have several offers.

Never expect placements for mechanical, ranking is for university and not for engineering .

Placements: As far as the core placements are concerned around 10 of 150 students of my batch were offered on-campus offers from Caterpillar, Alstom (3 students each), and other new reputed companies. Rest 50-60% of the students were made to sit for IT companies like Infosys, Tcs and Cts with many opting to leave the job. The above mentioned companies do offer internship for handful of students.

Overall, it is a decent college, but the fee depends on person to person.

Placements: About 60% to 80% of the students who have above 7.5 CGPA got placed from our course. I have seen many of our seniors getting placed in very good companies. But they all have worked hard to get it. You need to be very studious to get placed in good companies.

It is a good college for studies.

Placements: Average placements were provided to our seniors. It depends on time as in the previous year there were many placements and this year it was less. It may increase in the coming years. Internships are not good at our campus because it's too far from the city.

I am dissatisfied because of bad placements, bad facilities, but the teaching is good.

Placements: About 50% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and CTS visit our campus for placements. A top role offered to the students is programming analyst. The highest salary package offered in our course is 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. About 40% of the students got an internship in companies like Infosys, TCS and CTS. Other than the infrastructure, nothing seems to be worthy in the college for the amount we pay.

Placements: 1. Around 70% students got placed. 2. The highest- 12lakhs and the lowest - 2.45 Lacs and Average- 4.5 Lacs per annum. 3 Bosch, L&T are the top recruiting companies. 4. JE is the top role Internships are to be taken on our own. Many electrical companies like BHEL, L&T offer internships.

Amrita is good, but take it with a pinch of salt because the college life will be like prison life.

Placements: Majority of the batch gets placed in the IT sector. The average salary package offered is 3.60 LPA. CTS recruits the highest number of students. Salary packages above 5 LPA are considered dream offers, and only a few students get those. Core companies also visit the campus, but the selection of students is comparatively less as compared to IT.

Dissatisfied with faculty and placements. Satisfied with college environment.

Placements: Placements have claimed to be 100% but there's isn't data available to prove that. Computer Science was the branch to receive the highest paying jobs. Overall, aside from a few companies that didn't keep their promise, the placements were average. The highest salary was 21 LPA the lowest would be 2lpa average around 4 LPA. Placement in charges are not bothered about following up with the company once the student is placed. Companies like Ericsson and Infosys have not called for joining even afte...

Absolutely dissatisfied with Jail/hostel wardens, good campus and below average placements

Placements: The placements are good, but the package is very less compared to the fees paid. Getting placed in core company is difficult since they hire less number of people. Fortunately, our batch had 86 students who got placed in core company Ericsson. The fees are too high to compensate the placement package.

Amrita University will suit only the persons who want to study.

Placements: In this university, we can get placements but not for our studies. We can't get core job as our wish. They will get you placed in any company, but mostly in IT companies, which is an irrelevant job for our studies. The CIR will help you in getting placed in any company.

Disappointed with its placements, and also the food provided in the mess is bad.

Placements: The placements are bad for our batch. Out of 210 mechanical students, only 20 students got core jobs. The placement cell aims at making 100% placements but fails to give core job to its students. We took mechanical engineering to work in a mechanical company, which didn't accomplish. The computer science department is also regarding placements.

Among the 3 campuses located in Bangalore, Amritapuri and Coimbatore, Amrita School of Engineering Coimbatore campus is the main campus for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. It provides a very good environment for study. Campus location is also very good surrounded by mountains on three sides with full greenery. It consists of very good Professors with enough experience to teach the students. Good Infrastructure facilities. You can participate in research programs under the supervision of Professors. ...

I studied in the Bangalore campus. Its academics are fine but most of the stress is on score with little emphasis on practical. However, some faculty members are from very good backgrounds with awesome tech knowledge. But there is no glamour and mostly run by gurujis and swamijis.

The University had good curriculum which was almost at par with the IIT’s. However, it’s the curriculum that's aligned with IIT’s and NIT’s but not the faculty members, infrastructure, administration, encouragement and freedom. In pure business terms, way back during 2009-2013, it was not so bad an idea to invest Rs. 6 lacs for a period of 4 years to get a job, paying an average of Rs. 3 lacs per annum. But now, the figures seem to have changed with soaring tuition fee and luckily, the average s...

Overall good college for the rank around which it takes admission. Placements among mass recruiters is very good. From my batch everyone got offers from at least 2 companies. There you get chance to sit in placement interviews of top companies like Amazon, MCSFT (testing) profile, CISCO (testing) etc. Faculty members tries to teach students in the best possible way .However most of the professors are not good enough. Ugliest thing is mess where students (I) had difficulty in even swallowing a h...

You might not like the academics as much as you would for the nature surrounding.

Placements: In our batch, the organisation of placements by CIR was bad, and as a result more than expected, we're not placed. Whereas for our seniors, most of the eligible people were placed. Even a few companies which visited here to recruit our senior batch students didn't turn up for our batch.

It is a good college to pursue bachelor studies.

Placements: Students can easily get placed in some IT companies. Getting placed in a core company is like a miracle here. For CSE, the placement is the best, and the maximum salary package offered to them was 26 LPA. But don't take a mechanical course if you are looking for a good job. Placements of 2017 batch for mechanical students was horrible.
