Anand School of Engineering and Technology - Good or Not?

After analyzing reviews from current students and alumni, here's what stands out:

    Pros:

    * Excellent placements: Over 70% of students got placed, with salaries ranging from INR2.5 LPA to INR12 LPA. Top recruiters include Infosys, Wipro, and Tata Consultancy Services.
    * Good faculty: Majority of teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Some even offer additional guidance beyond regular classes.
    * Impressive infrastructure: The college has well-maintained laboratories, a state-of-the-art library, and recreational facilities such as a gym and sports grounds.
    * Annual fests: Cerebrum is an exciting annual festival that brings together students, faculty, and guests from across the country.

    Cons:

    * Poor food quality: Several students mentioned that the food served in the mess and canteen is not appealing.
    * Limited Wi-Fi access: Only faculty members have access to Wi-Fi, which may hinder student learning and research.
    * Placement concerns: While some students did get placed, others faced difficulties finding employment due to fewer core company recruitments.
    * Unhelpful teachers: Some students reported encountering unqualified or unmotivated instructors who failed to provide adequate support.
    * Maintenance issues: While the college has a nice setup, some students noted that the facilities could benefit from better upkeep.

    Neutral Points:

    * Course relevance: While some students appreciated the curriculum, others felt it needed updates to align with industry requirements.
    * Extracurricular activities: The college does organize events and activities, but participation might vary among students.
    * Fee structure: Students generally found the fees reasonable, although some noted issues with late payment deductions.

Overall, Anand School of Engineering and Technology seems to have its strengths, particularly in terms of placements and faculty quality. However, areas like food quality, Wi-Fi accessibility, and teacher engagement require improvement. It's essential for prospective students to weigh these factors against their personal preferences and priorities.

It is the best engineering college in Agra.
Placements: Our college provided excellent placements. Almost 70% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: It was a very good college in terms of infrastructure and design. All facilities were provided in this college. Mess, canteen, medical facilities, etc., were available in this college. The food served in the mess was good. Sports were also conducted in this college.
Faculty: Faculty members were excellent. They were helpful, knowledgeable, and highly qualified. Semester exams are conducted every six months. Most of the students passed the exams.
Other: It was a private college. All the courses were provided. I would recommend students to join this college.

It is a good college with good placements.
Placements: Around 80% of students get placed in our college. During covid, students managed to get placed with good salary packages and are currently working. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, the average salary package is 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 2.15 LPA. The recruiting companies are Deloitte, Netsmart, Cardekho, etc. Around 70% of students get internships in our college. The roles offered are developers and assitants.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good with good facilities but the food is not up to the mark. Library has a wide range of books. Hostel provides Wi-Fi and security. It is well maintained with hygiene. It has a well-equipped gym for students and a stadium.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified and supportive. The course curriculum makes students ready for industry. Semester exams are averagely tough. Around 30% of marks are required to pass exams. Teachers motivate students to do well in their academics and get placed.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in computer science. Lab classes were not conducted properly due to the pandemic which should be improved. Cerebrum fest and other activities are regularly organised in our college.

It is good in terms of infrastructure and education.
Placements: Placements are not good due to COVID-19. Chances decreased and the number of students selected was 35 out of 120. It would be good if extra classes were held for students to provide training regarding the placement procedure and off-campus placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and everything is perfect. The college has a library for study, and labs are perfectly arranged according to students. Classrooms are well maintained and clean. There are indoor games and a stadium.
Faculty: The quality of education is good, but there is a possibility that it could be better if it were done according to the feedback of students. The syllabus is insufficient to complete in the allotted time. The main sources are the notes provided by the faculty and books from the library.

No, it is not good at all in studies.
Placements: Around 80 % of students got placed in our college, and top recruiting companies are Tata consultancy limited and Wipro limited. About 90+% of students got an internship in our college. The roles offered in our courses are different kinds of software cad, cam, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are not so good, and there are not working properly, and equipment and instruments are not there in the labs because of that we are facing a problem regarding practical knowledge or laboratory knowledge machines. Many types of equipment are too old to use.
Faculty: Teachers are not too highly qualified and are though not so much knowledge, and they are only performing their duties for the students. The semester exams are too difficult for us because of the lack of teaching by the teachers. The labs are not done properly.

The placements in our college were average.
Placements: Software developer and marketing roles were offered. There were a lot of marketing and low-paying software engineering roles offered. I would definitely not suggest anyone join here for placements. We were expecting a better placement record here, but all those good companies have already selected candidates from other colleges. We don't even know why we were rejected in the interview.
Infrastructure: The facilities are average. Sports facilities need to be improved. Wi-Fi is poor, and we never used it in our entire college life. They provide nothing in the name of sports kits. The college is not even providing funds for sports activities. We had to buy our own kits even when we were playing zonal matches.
Faculty: Semester exams were moderate. We have to go to some other colleges to give exams. Our college is affiliated with Lucknow University, and we get average results. Basics and some conceptual questions are asked in exams.
    Other: Extracurricular activities were good.

Satisfied because of good faculty, good in infrastructure.
Placements: About 80 per cent of students are placed in my course. The highest package is about more than 7 Lacs, the lowest package is about 4 lakh per annum, the average package is about 5 Lacs per annum. Infosys, Wipro, etc., are the recruiting companies. About 70 per cent of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good but there is no Wi-Fi. The classrooms are very good and our practical labs are advanced and in our library. There are so many books and our professors have good knowledge. The auditorium is very good.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. Yes, it makes the students' industry-ready.
