Placements: The core companies like L&T, BCPL visit the campus along with gulf construction companies which visit sometimes based upon their vacancy. Software companies like Wipro, Infosys, Hexagon, IBM visit the campus. The placement criteria are average. Good knowledge of the subject along with CGPA above 7.5 is required to crack core jobs. Placements in software companies are totally based on aptitude, basic knowledge of C, Data structures, and Java along with performance in the interview. ...
Placements: Comparing to 2016, placements are very less in 2017. Companies like Infosys, Wipro and Capgemini came in 2017 whereas in the core side, L&T is the only company which came to our college for placement. The minimum salary is 3.25 lakhs and the max is 6 lakhs. If we secure 80% or above, we are eligible for the company.
Placements: The placement here at the andhra university is very good, about 85 to 90 percentage of the students get placed every year. The highest package is about 10 lakhs per annum, and the lowest is about 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The job roles offered to the student is as per the specialization of the student. The companies such IBM, Infosys and TCS, visit the campus every year.
Placements: There are no placements in the college this year. Our seniors are leaving this college with empty hands. I think I will also leave with great disappointment. If the college faculty wish, then they can give us a bright future. They can approach various companies to hire us by describing our skills and abilities.
Placements: The placements are currently offering fewer packages. The highest for now for us is 7. 75 lakhs per annum and, the lowest was 2 lakhs per annum from our college. Almost all companies like Wipro, Infosys movies, Hyundai, L&T. For our senior batch, placements were excellent. Some good placements are held, and the students are placed, where less than 40% the kind of roles which was offered to us as a coordinator class representative, interaction with teachers.
Placements: Our college is good at placements. 60% students were placed in our senior batch. The highest salary offered was 12 lakhs per annum and the lowest was 6 lakhs per annum. Indian Navy, Mazagon Dockyard, Hindustan Shipyard Limited, etc. visited our college. Most of the students get an internship with a good stipend.
Placements: Approximately 60-70% of my seniors got placed in the campus interview. The highest salary offered was Rs. 50 thousand per month and the least was Rs. 25 thousand, which was offered by Accenture. A few other companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and TCS also offered jobs.
Placements: Our department has good placements in different companies like Mazagon Dockyard, Hindustan Shipyard etc. Our seniors got placements from the Indian Navy, Mazagon Dockyard and Hindustan Shipyard. They got a package of 10 lakh per annum. Some students got their jobs in software companies like Wipro etc.
Placements: Mostly, IT companies came with a package of around 3-4 lakhs. Placements are almost 100%, but placements related to our core branch are very few, I should say almost negligible. Companies mostly are IBM, Accenture, Infosys and Wipro. They offer bulk placements and almost all the students get placed.
Placements: The placements are good enough in the campus but the selection criteria was very tough. The average placements obtained are more and the senior batch also got placements. Somehow, they managed to get the jobs as they had the knowledge and stuff of their subject. The number of companies for core was less and the selection criteria was average. It is all up to the preparation of the student.
Placements: For my senior batch, placements were good. They got companies like Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, FTD, Factset, etc. Many of them were placed in these companies. For my batch, placements got decreased because of the companies recession caused by Brexit. All of the above companies came for campus but the intake was less compared to last year.
The facilities in the college are excellent. All the faculty members are having doctorate degree. The syllabus is not far as per the industry standards. Placements are not available for M.Tech students. It is very tough to get distinction in this university. Library is not up to the mark. Internet facility to the hostlers is the worst.
The best part is that we get a lot of freedom here. Personally as I’m pursuing architecture, our faculty is a bit lenient. As it a creative field so we need time to explore things. We have good faculty too. Great atmosphere. And what else do we need? It has got above average campus facilities and placements. But worth in terms of money invested in education.
It don’t seem like a college. It’s more like a home. They give importance to our thoughts and encourages us to implement our new ideas. But one thing always disappoint us is the facilities which are very few. If our Department is also considered by the Government, as we need to be provided by best facility for the development of student skills.
Placements: Placements depended mostly on the branch. Infosys was a large recruiter for Computers Sciences while Indian navy was keen for students from Naval Background. So, overall placements were good but not upto mark. The highest Salary Offered was 4.2LPA while minimum was 2LPA. Most of the roles are entry level.
The College is one of the most prestigious colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Its reputation has earned it an upgradation status to IIT in the state. The Academic syllabus is very good and has Credit based Grading System. The biggest advantage is that, the students are given the option to choose the electives of their own choice, thereby allowing them to study and specialize in their field of interest. The Academic system is soundly complemented by well-equipped Computer labs and Library facilities t...
Excellent faculty. Average facilities in labs. Good placements and salary. Faculty should be more interactive. CSE students get more placement offers compared to other branches. The infrastructure for sports and fitness is not good. No college bus facility which makes it difficult for day scholars to reach college.
My College is Andhra University, which is located in the city of Destiny, Visakhapatnam. A beautiful campus almost on the shores of the Bay of Bengal. One of the highly reputed colleges for Chemical Engineering in Asia. The Infrastructure is limited but one can learn how to make the best use of it. Some of the faculty members are highly qualified and capable of shaping a student’s career. It has widely spread alumni base through which the placements are attractive. This College is a place, where...
Classes occur on a regular basis and the faculty is really good. The college is not that strict but if you have zeal to learn then this college is a good one to join. The college does not give much importance to extracurricular activities. The lab facilities are also not that good but the examinations are kind of strict here. The paper correction is not that strict. The placement in the college is mostly for CSE engineers, very few companies come for chemical engineers. The companies which come ...
It is a very old government college. The faculty is outstanding. The digital processing is good. The lab facilities are very nice. Environment is lush green. Campus life is very good. Hostel facility is a problem. The rooms are small and dark. The mess menu does not change. The sports teams are very good. Exclusive debating and drama society is there. The infrastructure is not the best but it is fine. Seminars and workshops takes place regularly. The fees is very nominal since it is a government...
