B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2024
Offered by Anjalai Ammal Mahalingam Engineering College

Since 2015 good placement packages are given.
Placements: 96 percent students get placed in companies that provide a package of around INR 15000-20000 per month.
TVS, LNT, Infosys, Lakshmi precision tools limited Coimbatore, etc. are the top recruiting companies. I think 20 percent students got internship and industry visits.
This college is Naac accredited B grade.
Infrastructure: Facilities are not bad and infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is provided for students projects and educational activity. Library is quite silent and has many books. I am a day scholar student so I don't know about hostel, food in canteen is below average and college also has medical facilities and sports.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good because teachers have good experience.
No, Anna university syllabus is outdated and my suggestion is to include new curriculum.
40 percent students fail in some subjects and dress code is important to enter the college.
Other: I like this course.
If current industry related syllabus is provided it would be better.
Events and fest are below average.

Don't pick this college if you have interest in extra curricular activities.
Placements: Very less number of students got selected in campus. There were not much interviews held. We got only some unknown companies from our core side. 7k-15k max is the salary offered in core. No top recruiting companies came and 5% of the students went for internship in BHEL. HR is the top role offered in my course.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. We used our lab in an effective way than other colleges. We have neat classrooms and good library and we don't have any Wi-Fi facility. I don't know about the hostel since I'm a day scholar but I have heard that the experience is not so good. Food is average. The canteen’s food is above average. Good medical facilities are present and the college also has good sports facility but we are not allowed to use them.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly good but not passionate. We are not ready to get into the industry. We have nil knowledge about the things. We always think about getting into IT companies otherwise we won't survive in core. The semester exams were quite okay and the pass percentage is above 50%.

Anjalai ammal mahalingam engineering college is really good college.
Placements: Anjalai Ammal Mahalingam Engineering College is renowned for its exceptional placement opportunities. With a dedicated team of placement trainers, the college ensures comprehensive training for all its students. The college has a track record of attracting top-tier companies for recruitment, offering lucrative salary packages ranging from INR 1.5 to 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Anjalai Ammal Mahalingam Engineering College is truly impressive, with state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories. Additionally, the college boasts a well-stocked library and provides hostel facilities for its students. The hostel mess offers a variety of daily meals, and there are also emergency medical facilities on campus.
Faculty: The faculty members at Anjalai Ammal Mahalingam Engineering College are known for their humility and helpfulness towards all students. They conduct a substantial number of exams and provide lessons through both online and offline resources. Each department has a dedicated team of staff members. It had good placements in 2019, and it is one of the best colleges in Trichy.
Placements: Around 80% of students were placed. The highest package offered is 4 LPA. Lots of companies come for placements every year. Mostly, the IT and CSE students have good placements in HCL, TCS and Techno companies. They have conducted different internship programs, which was a good experience to learn new technologies. I got a stipend of 15,000 per month during that internship.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are not good, and the food is bad. The food on the campus is not good too. Labs are very good. The library facilities are available. It is huge and efficient. Sports are given importance. If you are a good sportsman, the college will sponsor you to play in the zonal match.
Faculty: I have paid the fee of around 50,000 per year. They will provide books and also other facilities. Our college lecturers teach good topics and new technologies by conducting seminars in the college. I like the college very much.
Other: Anjalai Ammal College, Thiruvarur, is ranked 9th by NIRF among all universities. It's a private college which is a very well-equipped college with an attractive campus and decent infrastructure. Its design is unique, and it's also very close to the railway station. The college offers B.Tech and MCA courses.

I am dissatisfied with the faculty, management and average placement.
Placements: About 20% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 24,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 12,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like TVS and Wipro visit our campus for placements. The highest salary package offered in our course was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. About 40% of the students from our course got an internship. It is a good college for knowledgeable students because the teaching staffs members are highly knowledgeable.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good. It offers a very bad atmosphere because there is less number of trees and places in the surrounding area. The infrastructure of our college is average. All facilities like library and laboratory are average. The only water facility is good on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are so helpful. They are more humble and friendly. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum was average, and it does not make the students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is the best course. Nothing should be improved in our course. Events and fests organised by the college are the worst. Campus crowd and connectivity is also bad.
