I am disappointed in my life. I got a seat in University College of Engineering Ramanathapuram.

Placements: Only around 15% of students got placement offers from here. Mahendra, KEC International and TCS visit here. The highest salary offered was Rs. 32,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 6,000 per month. Around 35% of students got internships in Orient Systems Pvt Ltd. SCADA engineer, HVAC engineer, electrical engineer and commissioning engineer roles are offered here.

Infrastructure: There was no lab facility here. If we need to go to the lab, we should visit nearby private colleges like Sathak Engineering College, etc. There is the very worst infrastructure here. Staff members are also not good, and they are not qualified. The hostel is now looking fine, but non-vegetarian food is not served. The food served is of a low quality. There was not even one ground.

Faculty: There was only 1 permanent staff member and one assistant professor. All other staff members are temporary. The course was good and had a lot of options. The teaching quality was not good. The main point in our department was that in every semester only 8 to 15 students passed all subjects. All others have a minimum of 3 arrears. The pass percentage is only 22%.

Other: EEE was one of the best courses, so I chose it.

My life at Anna University.

Placements: The percentage of students getting placed in my college is seventy percent. The highest package of students getting placed in my college is 7 LPA, and the lowest package of students getting placed in my college is 2.5 LPA. The companies are TCS, and Foxconn.

Infrastructure: I will give only 2 stars out of 5 for the infrastructure of my college. It has the worst infrastructure. They provide all facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, and smart boards for teaching. Coming to the hostel menu and room, it is good compared to other colleges.

Faculty: The college staff are well-educated and experienced in their field. They don't take care of much; we only have to take care of our studies and learn new, experienced skills. Regarding semester exams, only a few papers may feel difficult; otherwise, they are easy.

Good College : Exceptional Faculty, Relevant Curriculum and Eco-friendly college.

Placements: 1. Placement percentage : Probably around 60-70% of students from our course were successfully placed in various companies. This indicates that a significant portion of our peers found employment opportunities relevant to our field of study. 2. Package offered I) the highest : The highest package offered was 7lpa and is offered by Zoho operation. Ii) the lowest : The lowest package offered was 1.5lpa, provided by Novastrid. Iii) Average : The average package offered to our students was 3.5lpa. 3. Top recruiting companies I) Zoho Operation : Zoho is recognised as one of the top recruiters for our course. Known for its software products and services. Ii) TCS : TCS, being a global IT service and consulting company, is another prominent recruiter for our course. 4. Internship opportunities Probably around 30 - 40% of students from our course secured internships. These internship provided valuable hands-on experience and exposure to real-world scenarios. Some notable companies where students from out course secured internships include Q-Spider, IIT Madras. 5. Top role offered : Some top role offered are Develops, Design Engineer, Marketing engineer .

Infrastructure: 1. Facilities and infrastructure available : I) Labs : Our department has VLSI Lab, DSP Lab, LIC Lab, Embedded and an Innovation Lab. These labs are equipped with the latest technology and equipment necessary for practical learning and experimentation in various fields. Ii) We had a high-speed internet access across the campus, facilitating research, online learning and communication. Iii) Our classroom are modern and well-equipped, featuring green boards and projectors. Iv) The library have numerous reference books, journals. Additional, it provided internet facilities, access to IEEE resources and printing facilities, empowering students with valuable research resources. V) Beyond academic facilities, our campus feature serene space like the lotus pond and butterfly garden, providing students with tranquil environment for relation. 2. Hostel Facilities I) Each hostel room accommodate four members and is furnished with a study desk and chair, as well as two cupboards for storage. Ii) The hostel mess and canteen offer food options for both veg and non-veg preference. The South Indian menu provides nutritious meals, supplemented by healthy snacks in the evening. Iii) Our hostel facilites include a shuttle court, TV room with other sports equipment like shuttle bat, carrom board, yoga MAT.

Faculty: 1. The majority of our teachers hold Ph.D. qualifications and possess extensive experience in their respective fields. They are not only knowledgeable but also approachable and helpful, fostering an environment conducive to learning. Additional, various seminars with industry experts enriches students with valuable insights into real-world application. 2. Our course curriculum is designed by Anna University. This ensures that the content remains relevant and up-to date incorporating advancements in the respective fields. Various industry-relevant projects, internship, and workshops are integrated into our curriculum to enhance our practical skills and make them industry-ready. 3. The exams in our college are average difficult. The pass percentage for these exams stands at 70-80 %. .
